Unfortunately, there are a number of movies that Madhuri made where she was the only good thing about it. And if I remember this movie correctly, her in this song was pretty much it. Movie was not great in my opinion. Madhuri was fabulous though.

Instrument on which the main Tune of the song composed is called as “Banjo”. India produced and have one of the finest Banjo Players in every local town and sounds amazing …many Bollywood songs has Banjo tunes as iconic signature tunes and musical hits were chartbusters on track list…search videos on it and react

Background dancers are important there as the entire song is in question and answer format. Secondly the setup of the song is based on Konkan/Goa region of Bharat(India), where there are lots of konkani people who are mainly fisherman. And there is a many decade old tradition of KONKANI FOLK SONGS, which is mainly a group dance format. The song is similar to that.

A wonderful composition by Laxmikant Pyarelaal ji, Fantastic lyrics by Anand Bakshi ji, Sung outstandingly by LATA MANGESHKAR. This Indian Classical Music song is based on Raag ...... And its superbly picturized and very well acted by Madhuri. And there are lots and lots and lots of great actors in the song like Amrish Puri, Paresh Rawal, Anu Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Anupam Kher, Dimple Kapadia and some more. That's a hospital benefit stage show. She's a doctor. Those are the nurses. You should watch the song Andaz mera mastana, from the film Dil Apna Preet Parayi, that's a black and white film, again a hospital charity show with the male doctor and the nurses doing an Arabesque routine. And there's the suspicious wife in the audience.

She's done the desi version of Sleeping with the Enemy. That's another movie. Has ditto scenes from the original, the towels arranged on the rail, her wearing a peak cap and going to the hospital, drinking water from the dispenser.

This is a theatre rather dance group shown as performing on stage in a movie.. that is why it's theatrical .. and a romantic number.... she is waiting for someone who would come to her with lots of love... that is ehat the song says.. thank you for liking the scene..

This is the only song where the crowd (chorus) sings the main song where as Madhuri the lead sings the chorus line (which is same line every time) It's a song based on a folk dance from state of Maharashtra... And Goa...mostly coastal region where fishermen are and some of them are Christians...hence the cross. It is a group dance and her friends/neighbours from the community are teasing her. Madhuri s known for her dancing skills and the expressions. When you watching her song next time remember not to take off eyes from the screen....lol

@@vinodbhairajani4682 ...This was to be sung by Asha Bhosale. Anupama Deshpande came in to sing the scratch version which is used for shooting purpose but when they heard the recorded version they decided to keep Anupama's recording and never got Asha to sing it

Why you see Christian sign bcoz Portuguese invented Goa and some part of Indian costal line.. So Many Koli (fishier men community) get converted to Christian. But still Hindu-Christian-Muslim-Jews-Sikhs-Buddhist stay together in India and celebrate everyone's festival.
