I remember the small Chick-fil-a’s in the malls in the 80s. There were always lines. My family was poor and we never ate there, though. It wasn’t until I was an adult that I ate their food.

That was the preferred pronunciation at one time, but it seems to have changed in the early 20th century. There are recordings of a Civil War veteran made around 1909 where he talks about "Sow-thern rights".

Not only homeless but even surviving the great depression but its becoz fast food was poor peoples or not so rich food at that time, coming in ordering and then eating it even if you have to stand but tge rrich used to go to resfaurabts with wine and all. Ever wkndered why fast food not include such drinks becoz its just not like that. Thats is why fast food and yes it costs too low even today to open your own fast food kiosk or stall rather compared to a fancy restaurant or cafe. Plus rich of those time used to had hotels restaurants then why they need to open fast food shops. Think of it.

It's because the franchise is owned by Christians. We worship on Sundays, which is problematic if you're also trying to run a business too. Taking Sundays off to worship and relax is something many tend to do.
