A Bronco Story: The Story Behind an Original Owner's 1970 Ford Bronco

Art Walker isn't your average guy. Something tells me a movie could made of all the stories this guy could tell. In this video, Art gives a little bit of insight into the joys and hardships of owning a Ford Bronco for almost fifty years.
Story to story, Art fills you in on why he thinks the Bronco is the best vehicle ever made. You will soon learn, though, that to him, it isn't just a thought. It's a fact.
Art's daughter, Tracy, also shares her father's passion for the Bronco and gives an inside look at what being the daughter of a Bronco enthusiast consists of.

I have a 1970 U14 also and also a sport.Its weird seeing a sport without the side chrome but Ford always made them any way you wanted back then.Very rare as well,halfcabs were very low production and adding the sport option only around 50 had it.They were basically bulletproof and over built right from the start.They had the 9 inch rear,toploader 3 speed,dana 20 gear drive transfer case and dana 44 front couple all that with the best small block V8 ever made and you have a truck that cant be killed!

I've got a 1967 mustang fastback that WILL NOT sell it either, I've had it since high-school it is my first car and I've had it for 33 years, my bronco I've had it for 25 years mines a 1970 also

I have a 1970 Ford bronco half cab with a original winch from the factory and the engine or transmission has never been rebuilt i am 16 now and it is mine now. My papaw bought it from the dealership in 1970 as a truck to go hunting and use for general utilities around the house and gave it to my dad in 1993 and if you look at it now it is rusty looking and beat half to death but it can still drive like new I learned to drive and when I was 12 and heck I still do stack wood with it but I am planning to restore it in a year or so and I have so many memories in this bronco and I am also restoring it because it is my papaws 97th birthday and I will surprise him with it but it is still mine my dad use to take it hunting when his newer trucks would not go through the regular trails I love my bronco so much and I know no matter what I will never sell it

I have a question I am moving to Ocala and I have a restored stock first gen bronco and I was wondering if I only take it out in the fall and if it never touched water and never went near the coast I was wondering if it would rust really badly anyone have answers

It all depends on how the paint is on it. If the frame and body have been taken care of, you should be fine for a while. Rust is ruthless though so any exposed metal will be up for grabs. Not sure what the weather or terrain is in Ocala but that's just something to keep in mind.
