This video is only for entertainment purposes; I make no financial gain. I claim no ownership of the footage used in this video; the original owners retain these rights. The movie “A Bronx Tale” is an American crime drama film released in 1993 and stars Robert De Niro and Chaz Palminteri. “A Bronx Tale” was directed by Robert De Niro.
Suggested by: Canadian Arctic Radio
Fun facts about “A Bronx Tale”:
Casting scouts searched around New York City and Long Island for a teenager to play the role of Calogero. A scout noticed Lillo Brancato on Jones Beach. For most of his childhood, Brancato had done impersonations of Robert De Niro and was often told that he resembled De Niro. When he performed an impersonation for the scout, she immediately cast him.
The original 1988 Broadway production of "A Bronx Tale" by Chazz Palminteri re-opened at the Walter Kerr Theatre on October 25, 2007, ran for one hundred eleven performances, and closed on February 24, 2008. Chazz still performs "A Bronx Tale" as his one-man play in approximately twenty-five cities a year.
In the biker bar fight scene, a curly haired character with a goatee is often mistaken for an early cameo appearance of Rob Schneider. This is actually a real New York City member of the Hell's Angels motorcycle club.
Although it was "A Bronx Tale", virtually all of it was filmed in Astoria and Jackson Heights, Queens, New York. It was easier to capture the period in those locations where many buildings from the 1920s, to the 50s; still stood.
The fictional motorcycle gang "Satan's Messengers" is based on the notorious and real Hell's Angels. There have been dozens of fictionalized versions to the Hell's Angels in movies and on television shows with convoluted variations on their name. Here, in this movie, the word "messenger" comes closest to the true intent of the real name. The literal translation of the Greek word "aggelos" from which the word "angel" is derived, means "messenger".
Again, if you have a particular movie scene you’d like to see, post that scene in the comments and I’ll see what I can do! I am very grateful for the suggestions I’ve received so far!
Anyway, enjoy the video. I wish you all a great week!

In relation to your statement, is it wrong to suggest that we need 1950s/60s organized mafia like this back in our neighborhoods? I look at all the idiots right now looting in Philadelphia or the past idiots burning down cities because of racial tension and think this shit would not happen in a mafia protected community.

To go to an Italian bar, in 1960s NY, see that the bar owner is a calm Italian dude in a tailored suit, and still think you can fuck around is crazy. That’s the main part that I found hard to suspend disbelief for in this movie. Great scene though.

"But now a days, you will just get shot or stabbed" This is because America has gone the way of Samurai Japan. Everyone's packing something nowadays for self-defense and how many many MANY people are living in their phones and looking for the event to post it on social media to go viral. Also not to mention the nature of reputation. NOBODY is trying to get an azz whooping and have THAT get aired all over the internet and be known for taking Ls. At the point, this leads to the motto nowadays that it is all-or-nothing and act like you got nothing to lose. This ends badly because with the way the world is turning, everyone has a short fuse nowadays because almost everything is not working right and they need something to last out against.

@zzirfamo24 That's the one thing I never understood about this scene. The bikers had New York accents so I figured that they were local and thus familiar with the city. I could be wrong, but I'd assume that any native New Yorker would know which neighborhoods were controlled by the mob and even if they didn't, one would think that the Italians' expensive suits and the Cadillacs parked out front would have clued them in. Yet despite all the obvious warning signs, they go in there and act like jackasses but when Sonny locks the door, all of a sudden the bikers were all like, "Oh, shit...we really fucked up this time!" as if they didn't know exactly what they were getting into. That never sat right with me.

This scene was edited from the original version. Watch when Sonny locks the door and turns to face the bikers his arms start to move and then there’s an instant close up on Sonny’s face and he says “Now you can’t leave”. The original uncut scene Sonny says “I asked you to leave. now you can’t leave” When Sonny’s arms start to move is when he says “I asked you to leave”. I don’t understand why they edited out that part of his line. It really made the scene so much better

"Now yous can't leave" sounds a lot more like it fit as far as ascents go and ways of speech for him it fits better said this way there, its just more inline with how mob men back then talked.

Boils down to respect. Respect was asked for and given kindly. But, it turned into disrespect and that's when the dynamics between humans change. I am a patched biker and none of my group would ever act like this. Yes we are armed to the teeth but, it just means we like tools. We call it our last resort to protect the innocent. People who are not bikers come into our clubhouse who are not bikers. To see who we are, what we are about. Its cool they become regulars if they act like a human being. Our club house is open to the public for certain events. There will be kids running around so watch your language, try not to smoke or drink in front of them. There will also be guns on hips. Not a big deal at all. Its our club house we set the rules. Start a problem you will be asked to leave. Don't then get walked out. Violence is forbidden, disrespect is forbidden, children are closely looked out for, mess with a kid and that is going to get things warmed up. Meet some of your local bikers and hang out. You will have a good time because that is all we are doing. Its a family. I am not in an MC.

Totally agree, but a few decades ago some groups of bikers thought that in order to assert themselves they had to provoke the Italians in their neighborhoods...of course they discovered that they knew how to defend themselves.
