My favourite part was the pronunciation of this sentence 'so there's a really big festival there,' specifically the 'mhór ann' part meaning 'big there' because it sounds like Morton F.C..

Can I just ask, does the average Irish speaker know the gender of every noun and know when to add lenition and so on??? Because that’s the thing that’s getting difficult for me
@salbarresi3479 ай бұрын
It’s hard. Just do the best you can. It would be a minor mistake to get the gender wrong. Just work on the most used words just learn it as it comes. Don’t try to memorize genders Try to just pick it up by context For example an bhean - the séibhiu gives it away.

I took a ancestry DNA test and my ancestry DNA estimate was 57%. It's given me a desire to learn the language. I really appreciate what you're doing with this channel. Thank you

Fantastic that people are working on preserving the Irish language. Molly, when you get to County Cork, go to Macroom for the Mozzarella. I am not sure if it's in the Gaeltacht there. It is close. Drimoleague has my family Castle. Me encante apprender otras idiomas. Lastima que no tenia mas tiempo por El Gaeltacht. Trato de enfocarme en Munster. Go raibh maith agat.

Loved this!!!! Great conversation, and was SO excited to see more Munster dialect resources too!!! My Irish roots staunchly hail from County Cork, so I've been very interested in learning the Munster dialect (as well as just as much Gaeilge as possible!) Thank you both so much!!

how cool!! you are so irish that it burst through the english, and she is so irish that her origins are. i feel like Irish and music are so connected but I don't know why. I am american, but I sing, and feel irish in my heart too. Also if she did an irish cooking course teaching us what foods are in irish and stuff that'd be so cool! I LOVE at 6:35-45 you're just progressively going "you're COOL" on your face lol
