@mugi-wharingan8150 where you from? I found a cheap flight for 40 USD from Switzerland to the UK, I'm also broke but somehow managed to squeeze that in😅🤣

The folks who get the opportunity to visit Herons are truly so lucky! It's so incredibly expensive to travel across the Pond. $500+ USD to get over there from Boston, USA. And once summer hits the price for one round trip ticket will skyrocket to over $1000! I just checked 😅 This is one trip that has to be planned far in advance.

You could have been a pediatrician and watched children grow and develop under the watchful care, feeding, pruning (hair cuts), training, etc of their parents. What a wonderful reunion. Hope to see the repots of Matt’s trees. Cheers from Boston Mass USA

@givetanks Glad you enjoyed the environs. Come again. Summers are very nice and a good time to visit. The Islands, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket; the Cape especially the further out you get are charming and can be great places to unwind a bit.

You can see the livid jealousy he has for that Scott’s Pine in his handling :P

"We always discourage people to grow bonsai from seed..." -Peter Hmmm, I must have missed something because I'm planting several hundred seeds after watching your videos. I have a small acreage with a fallow field so I figure I'll make up for the fact it takes so long by doing hundreds at a time!

Its because most beginners lose patience very easily when trying to grow bonsai from seed.If you are patient then by all means.

@@peterchan3100 I wouldn't say I'm patient... I'm also buying a bunch of nursery stock, collecting yamadori, and looking for landscaping rescues! But patience is something I want to work on and watching trees grow seems like a great way to practice!

Hi Peter! I love your videos, I’ve grown a lot on my bonsai knowledge through your teaching, thought it hasn’t quite yet progressed to wisdom. Quick question, could you make a video about Fukien Tea? It’s the first tree I ever purchased on discount and saved from death, I’ve even managed to get a few cuttings rooted. Everywhere online says that they’re incredibly difficult, but it’s been fairly easy for me to keep alive and not due to my skill, others would probably like this tree but are scared off by the internet doom and gloom.

Oh yours lived? Mine I got from a garden centre and it came pre-packahed with scale insects burrowed under the bark. Tree died yesterday

I think the issue isn't the tree, but poor quality specimens sold in garden centres

@@Stettafire Mine had just a couple green leaves left, but they were dry and only green because they had recently died. With some frequent watering and good sun it bounced back well

Amazing how you treat your customers. Most businesses should learn from you. Nobody it’s interested in making new friends having loyal customers. Most people don’t know what loyalty is or respect. If a put a video here how my bank of 10 years treat me you should be horrified. No respect at all.

My optition... Been a customer since I was 5 years old, I'm nearly 30. The way they speak to me, ignore me and belittle me regarding my eye health is unbelievable. All to sell me the most expensive glasses they have with all these extras I don't need. Oh, but the glasses don't work and don't even fit my face. I need glasses so I've been reduced to tears. When I go back to try and fix the problem, more lies and more "oh but there's not much we can do..." Horrible. A horrible way to treat a person whose been loyal to you and is dependent on your services. I'm getting a new option after 25 years!
