@mixeduh3 жыл бұрын
I remember at just 20 years old, trying a harder drug in college that messed me up so much, it changed me forever. It brought on anxiety, and health problems. I fell out of my friend group, I broke up with my boyfriend, and in the fall I was diagnosed with crohn's disease. I felt like my life was over. How could I be gay and have this disease and ever date or feel love again, who would want to carry my burden? I was riddled with anxiety and pain from running to the bathroom constantly, losing weight and energy. A doctor at the time said I may never be able to hold a full time job, and that I would have to stay on medication for the rest of my life. I was so fed up with my situation, being confined to my bed and the bathroom in my last year of college, that the only thing I could do was research how to get better. I did everything doctors told me not to do. I started seeing a naturopathic doctor. I focused on changing my diet, I supplemented with herbs and natural things the earth makes, not drugs that just mask pain or mask the problem. It took a while, but I started seeing results to the point where I felt like I could go out with people again, I didn't have to be afraid of where the closest bathroom was and what not. And now, a decade later, I've worked in the #1 entertainment market for TV production, I can enjoy the junk foods I like on a day off from the gym and I have an incredible body with lean muscle mass. I NEVER just blindly accept what others tell me, I question everything and do my own research. That's why when I look around right now and see an incredibly sad state this country has gotten to where people have neglected their health for so long, now they're in a position to be begging for an antidote. It's not everyone's fault though, as the way our food system works is so incredibly messed up. But if I can go from rock bottom in my health, so can you.

This is so empowering to see right now‼️ I’ve been in a very dark place lately an recovering ❤️🩹/healing from this injury. I am a Sexual Abuse/Physical abuse survivor an also battle with Clinical Depression/Anxiety I was contemplating suicide a couple nights ago. I had looked at My Gun an looked at some pills 💊 I had written a note 📝 an was gonna go through with it so glad I didn’t do it. Nothing but God that came & rescued me .

Yep did the same thing as Jeannie. During my studies, I decided to move from Liverpool to London because of a toxic relationship... sometimes you need to do complete 180 in order to get your life back and heal.

I recently ran away from home cos of my narcissistic abusive mum, have no contact with my family, and living in a refuge. I have friends but they can’t really help much cos they still live with their families. The first few months after leaving i went on a huuuge spending spree to try make myself feel better but i ended up doing was wasting all my savings. I feel like im at my rock bottom now and i really hope i can have a day like these women where I’m happy, have good relationships and am financially stable 😢

Sorry about that! I hope you get through it. I stayed the whole month with very little food. I have no friends or family. But I made it out of that hunger situation and I am starting a new career. Things get better.

Mkay I have to say, I didn’t love Garcelle in the beginning and I missed Tam. But she’s really grown on me. She seems classy, smart and strong.
