I feel like the re recording process is what gave Taylor “permission” to make midnights and TTPD such long albums. Our response to the vault tracks made her realize that she can put every song out that belongs on the album and we will embrace it!

One thing I think about non stop is how ‘thanK you aIMee’ is literally rep x debut’s child. She’s singing about rep era, over a debut type beat. Then there’s songs like Cassandra, who’s afraid of little old me, the prophecy, I’m gonna get you back, so long London, which are either lyrically or sonically reminiscent of rep era. But then songs like the Bolter, thank you Aimee, the prophecy that have that acoustic or country feel like debut or even evermore. so i definitely TTPDTA was inspired by going from midnights/SNTV/1989TV going into re-recording debut and rep. It’s like the perfect cross over between them all.

i think for rep tv that she’ll announce it on the last show in London because she announced 1989 TV during the last American show, and london is the last european show and london is a very special city to her. i think she’ll release it on Friday, September 13 edit: well it seems taylor had some other surprises in for us lol including jack, florence and the machine, and icdiwabh mv! if i now had to guess, i think she’ll announce rep tv on the last eras show on dec 8 and release rep and debut in 2025, which makes sense since 2021, 2023, and 2025 would have two taylor’s versions each and 2022 and 2024 would have their own albums (and perhaps 2026 then too!)

TTPD era reminds me so much rep era because of the getaway car repeating again. Rep was her with calvin, making tom the getaway car and ultimately finding joe who was superior to all her other exes. She literally says in ready for it " younger than my exes but he act like such a man though". Similarly in TTPD she was with joe, matty was the getaway car and she found travis who again seems to make her feel like never before cause she says " no ones ever had me not like you" in so high school. Both ready for it and so highschool were the first songs introducing us to these new people. THE PATTERNS!

Rep is going to be announced last show London and released on the 13 September (vma, 2009) because there’s nearly 2 months off from the eras tour, makes sense, to play the vault tracks in the North American continent. Then debut announcement at the end of the tour. That is my guess.

I believe she has set a pattern of new album 1 year followed by 2 re-records the next (2020: evermore 21: Fearless & Red; 2022: Midnights 23: SN & 1989). This also makes sense because of Grammy’s. She obviously wants her older albums to have a second chance at winning awards without interfering with her current new album. Ex: after Evermore was nominated at the Grammy’s in 2021 she did not put up Fearless but rather Red for the 2022 Grammy’s. So I believe she will announce Rep on Aug 2nd but release it after the October Grammy cutoff this year to not interfere with TTPD. (If you read this all then thank you for listening to me yap🫶)

Debut will unquestionably be the final one and I think it’s going to surprise a lot of people. I think it will be another double album with some amazing collabs with country legends (like Dolly). The biggest thing is it will inaugurate her return to the Country genre. The Country and Americana genres make so much sense for the mature Taylor (with a family of her own?). Winning a CMA award would be the perfect full circle moment.

yes i agree, but people often switch the order of the final two horcruxes destruction because they’re so close together. Because Harry goes tot he forrest and dies and then as Hagrid brings him to the battle Neville kills Nagini. So it would be debut then rep which would just be so sneaky of her. I still think debut will be last since the project is called taylor’s version and she’d be taking back her name but from a commercial standpoint she could do rep last because it’s more likely to chart better and that could make them go out with a bang and aaaaaaaaah

My thoughts: - It will be only ONE doc called "The Eras" that will cover both re recordings and the tour as a blended experience for her, this thing of revisiting past eras and times of her life both on albums and on stage. - Rep will be announced on London 100%, debut might be announced right after for her birthday but I'm not sure the time will fit, she just might leave it for 2025 indeed but still announce on tour because cmon it's THE ERAS TOUR. - TS12 will come late 2025/2026 and will have a 1 am surprise ending the countdown for the greatest TS13. - About the albums and colors, I had also noticed how evermore could be seen as orangeish and that matches the yellow and red albums that came after it (also the chill country vibes). Then we had Midnights with purple and blue and sonically and thematically kinda matched SN and 1989 as well. TTPD obviously has black in it for rep and with a lot of heavy synth sounds but with a middle part (also the anthology) more country western influenced. And the sepia tones kinda gives off greenish too idk.

I think there’s songs on TTPDTA that reflect all the eras/albums. Other than lover. It makes so much sense and certain songs are lyrically or sonically reminiscent of folklore, evermore, midnights, fearless tv, red tv, SNTV, 1989tv. So definitely think debut and rep are gonna have vibes of ttpdta. Like Cassandra, thank you Aimee, who’s afraid…,

I really enjoyed this video and would like to see more in this style! Such a treat to get this video midweek 🤍 as for the Taylor’s versions, I do believe that reputation is next, and that it will be released by the end of the year. I’m just not entirely sold on particular dates for an announcement or when it comes out. As for debut, I’m not sure if we’ll get it until next year because like you two mentioned, there isn’t a debut set on the eras tour. I’m thinking she might have something special or different planned for debut, like a residency in Nashville where she plays songs from the debut vault (idk though, would she do a residency? Is she too big for that now?) but then a documentary of the re-recording process sounds absolutely AMAZING and I really hope we get that!!!
