Back in the 60’s dad fermented the 15 gallons of blackberries and distilled them into nearly 100% alcohol. He did it using an old pressure cooker, tubing and a bucket of cold water. RIP dad, you old moonshiner.

Add a little coconut oil, butter or cream to the chocolate chips while you're melting the chocolate to smooth it out. You could then dip or pour the chocolate over the bananas.

Another good sauce that goes with anything stir-fry is: Soy sauce, about 2 Tbls, sugar, 1 tsp, white vinegar, 1 tsp, water, about 2 Tbls, and a little cornstarch to thicken the sauce. You can kick up the heat with red pepper flakes, too. Just play around with the sauce. It's really good :)

If you can get an Oster blender, perhaps at a used store, the base with the blades will screw onto a regular mouth mason jar which you can blend in, only fill 3/4 full put ice in first about 1c liquid till you are used to how it works, use as a go cup, put in the dishwasher, get as many as you need easily, even just buying the pasta sauce that comes in the Atlas/mason jars. I defiantly like the flexibility and power of the Oster. Good luck. 😊

Just got one for $40 that comes with 3 bottles and sip lids, you just put the bottle onto the base and blend in the bottle. It happened to be on sale and was 5 mins walk from my place. It's a Mistral brand one. Now I just need fruits and will probably buy berries on special and freeze, I can't get bananas that cheap but I'll just buy on sale and freeze. Frozen bananas are great for young children too, takes a long time to get thru.

@ArdentMichelle Ай бұрын
My standard go to sesame sauce only has 3 ingredients: sesame oil, Kikkoman low sodium soy sauce, and brown sugar. Start with about 1/4 cup sesame oil then add in the soy sauce and brown sugar to your liking. I think I usually add in about 2 tbs each soy and sugar but everyone likes a different level of sweet and salty so adjust to suit your tastes. I enjoy a strong sesame flavor. Just triple or quadruple this recipe to make a jar. Here's another one I made that has a little more complexity... SESAME SAUCE 1 tbsp sesame oil 2 chopped cloves garlic 1 tbsp Chinese rice vinegar -or you can use a white vinegar 2 tbsp honey 2 tbsp sweet chilli sauce - I used Trader Joes, but it didn't add much heat. *optional 3 tbsp ketchup 2 tbsp brown sugar 4 tbsp soy sauce Combine ingredients then heat in a pan. Once sauce has reduced a little it's time to add your protein. You might want to have the protein in a different pan and then add the sauce to it. Sauce is rich so a little goes a long way. Here's a similar dressing that I LOVE on a cold noodle salad 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce 1/4 c sesame oil 2 tbs balsamic vinegar 2 tbs sugar Optional - 2 tbs chili oil.

I really do like chocolate, but I can’t handle that much so I like the idea of just drizzling some on the banana and it’s also less expensive. one of the things that I do use about half a bag of chocolate chips and a batch of chocolate chip cookies because again I like chocolate chips, but I don’t like them in an excessive way. I found that my kids don’t even notice but if I use the miniature chocolate chips, it’s even better because you get tons of chocolate chips all over the place and when I’m making it just for my reasons, not for my kids, I will use less because I don’t need that much chocolate. It’s this weird thing that happened to me when I got older. It literally doesn’t taste as good. All the stirfry sauces and teriyaki sauces that I find say that I have to use them within a week and when it’s just me or even just me and my husband, a whole batch is way too much for most dishes to use in a week and I’m making a big batch and saving it for weeks is a good idea or not or if there’s a different recipe that I don’t have or ingredient that I can leave out to make it last longer. I have had food poisoning before and I am super sensitive to even the idea of that happening again. I’m no fun to go out to dinner with.

yeah I was thinking about trying to melt just 3 chips on some wax paper for each piece of banana. 🤔 I've had these chocolate chips for awhile because I don't eat a lot of cookies (although I love them). Great idea to use the smaller chips. You should just make the sauce as you go.It's so much better anyway.

I'm not crazy about bananas but I do try to eat them cuz I know they're good for you. That would probably be a way I would eat a banana. But you know I tried freezing bananas once before and they turned black. I used it in a smoothie not to waste it but still how come your bananas didn't turn black

They turn darker the longer they are frozen. I've never had mine turn black but I use them fairly quickly.

I have T-Mobile. Because I am a veteran and because T-Mobile offers the Magenta Military plans to active duty military and to veterans, I took advantage of that. I was wondering, would you be willing to do a video on tofu? How do you prepare it and cook it? I tried, and I don't know what I did wrong, but I messed it up. I bought some shelf stable tofu, but I don't know what to do with it.

Hello 😁 First of all, thank you for your service to our country! 💜 I think Mint Mobile works off of the T Mobile network. Glad you got a good plan for being a veteran. Yes, I can include a segment about tofu. But I have to say....I've never heard of shelf stable tofu. Wondering if it's going to taste different from the stuff I use. I don't want you to be turned off of it on the first try 😂 I'll try to incorporate this soon! 😁

@ArdentMichelle Thank you so much! I will buy the refrigerated kind too for your future video. It was actually one that had to be in the refrigerator that I messed up the tofu. But, my local grocery store sells tofu that is on the shelf and is shelf stable. I will have to compare prices.

How has the service been with mint mobile? Have you had any dropped calls?
@ArdentMichelle
@ArdentMichelle Ай бұрын
No dropped calls. I was surprised that I can't tell the difference at all. I think they run on the T-Mobile network. It took me about a day to transfer and I had to call them for help because I didn't realize I have an onboard sim and a physical one that I had to remove before I could switch from Verizon to Mint, but after that everything was easy. If I was in a smaller area I would do some research before switching though...just in case service isn't as good in those areas.

@@ArdentMichelleand also check about deprioritization. A lot of other MVNOs, (basically Mint and others like Metro, Spectrum, Boost, etc are mobile virtual network operators who resell the extra space unused on each cell tower), so it sounds like it's working for you but for many, their data slows the heck down to where streaming is painful or very low quality during peak hours.
