Every time I watch one of your videos, my shoulders drop, my jaw unclenches, and my breathing slows. Whether you're out snowmobiling to a cabin, on vacation in Miami, or just chilling in the house, it happens. It's yours and Cristofer's energies that are soothing to me. I also loved this book! I recently read another book about Svalbard ... Dark Matter by Michelle Paver. It does not have the same cozy vibe (it's a ghost story) and takes place in the 1930s. Highly recommend!

Hi! I find Winter can be a bit 'suffocating' in terms of the darkness .. So I find the Polar Darkness fascinating...and how you both actually enjoy the Polar night.. and enjoy the beauty of it as against fighting against it... It is also interesting how quickly it arrives... in the middle of it, it probably feels like a long time, but very quickly the light returns and the season passes.. The rhythm and cycles of day and night and seasons, come and go & life day by day can seem to drag, but time is actually rolling by sooo quickly.. so enjoy it!

Yes, i thought that looked like a heated, enclosed sledge for humans that you were using for Grimm, but thats fine, esp as he ages and then you can still take him on adventures with you & Christoffer. To me it makes no difference whether you take your dog or not, but you and other people think the world of their and your dog/s. So whatever makes you happy. That was such a lovely shot of Longyearbyen across the snow and fjord. The encroaching daylight is wonderful again.
