Great tour! Thank you AND you are correct, this format where you tell us the plant name as we see it in your garden makes a huge difference because I can envision it in my own garden. I see its height and how it looks with the neighboring plants. Loved this!

Like x 100!!! {is there a LOVE button somewhere's that I'm not seeing 'coz I prefer to hit the LOVE button). I wanted to change things up this year in my (cluster home community) flowerbeds and bought a packet of Botanical Interests "Flamingo" Celosia. Also called a wheat celosia. Annual. Slow to start (by seed), but it's outrageous gorgeous right now (zone 6a, SW of Cleve., OH). Easily 4' tall, along with my verbena bonariensis that self seeded from last year. SUPER vertical interest FOR SURE! Lovin' it - will do it again next year!!!

You are so real and honest, I think you should leave the dead-looking Wild Magic Basil and it will make a great talking point. Even the best gardeners have to deal with things like this, so it could be informative and educational and maybe even get a good laugh out of a few. :-) Keepin' it real!

You have such a beautiful garden and I love how you incorporate native plants. We don’t have Japanese beetles in our hot, dry California climate and I can see how they can devastate a plant! It’s all so beautiful!!! Honestly it’s great to see an accomplished gardener like you have a few plants that aren’t picture perfect. Part of you being down to earth and why I like you so much. Thanks for sharing your new journey with us. Suggestion- the beautiful tall white cabinet tucked in the corner of your living room (from the angle the camera showed us) it might look neat if you turned it at an angle so it touches both walls and will allow you to see from a distance what beautiful pieces you will be adding to the shelves. It’s your house you do what you like, it’s merely a suggestion from my camera viewpoint.❤ the girls rooms are adorable.
