I havent been there in some years now and may not get another chance again, but I grew up on a farm east of Levelland and about 30 min. from Lubbock. I also lived there 15 years. It is so wonderful to see the new growth! I had a feeling it might be the case one day to build up the old neighborhood. I lived a block away from Lubbock High and went to Tech on and off for 8 years, not graduating. Hubby was a grad student there.I miss the old place which soon will be totally different than what it was when I was there, but after all I was there 28 years ago. Thanks so much for the tour! INDEED YOU MUST MENTION THE IMPRESSION LEFT BY 1970 TORNADO ON METRO TOWER! Watch video if you havent of the tornado. You prolly have growing up as they mention it every year on news. I was on the farm and 11 years old. Not affected. but did go to cellar since I was about 25 miles east of the city.

Lubbock is a very fast growing city..we can find Texas Tech here in this City....Covenant Health Hospital where my daughter is working now...we live here for almost 3yrs now🎉...i love it here because its so safe and less crime in this City🎉🎉🎉

Thanks for the information... Like I told you in person, you were the reason I moved to Lubbock. I saw you content on KZbin and found the perfect home in South Lubbock. I met you in the @Home Store and acted like I met a damn superstar... LOL! It was cool to bump into you at the store and I was glad that I could tell you the story of how your videos convinced me to move her. 3 years later, still digging the city. Thanks!

No tour of downtown is complete without showing the tornado-induced bend in the Metro Tower. Go to the SW corner and look straight up the side.

Dude, Metro Tower is also the only "corner store" downtown. Chuck (the building operator) is cool. Think I should release our interview/tour? I only released the drone footage on my channel. The other footage is kinda crappy.
