Halo 2 Legendary is... A nightmare. They knew people would try to cheap out and do Co-op. So they made sure you were still going to suffer no matter how many friends you brought with you.

It's not a nightmare. It's Legendary. It's not supposed to be easy. It's supposed to be "legendarily" difficult, and it's really not even that. It requires patience and persistence. Even if you choose to quit for a while, the worst case is you go back to the beginning of whatever level you're on. I have a feeling you guys complaining about Legendary H2 would try to self-delete if you actually played tough games from the 1980s and early 1990s. Beating SMB (no save states) is tougher. AVGN isn't eviscerating all those older games just for the show. They are legitimately difficult.

Yeah, the weird cliffhanger wasn't even originally intended by the devs, they were just really short on time despite crunching. And recently story boards came out showing some of what was planned. Pretty much a condensed H3 but the Ark, not a teleporter to the Ark, is on earth and forerunners were going to be revealed to be ancient humans. Also more focused on the threat of the covenant than the threat of the flood.

It is much more likely that soggy churro was ready to get a hold of whoever grabbed the index so that he could prevent the activation of the ring. This is further suggested by the fact that he grabbed Arbiter when Arbiter fell down the hole, meaning soggy churro was there all along, and guaranteed to catch whoever fell to the bottom of the hole above the index. The HD version made a subtle change that effects the story. 13:46 Brute plasmas not only stun lock 343 big monkey, but also damage him through his barrier. If I recall, you are given allies at the beginning of the boss fight, and if you position 343 big monkey correctly, Johnson can snipe off his barrier while elites whale on him with swords, and you keep him from attacking by using said brute plasmas. Bonus stun locking power if you have a friend to assist with the stun locking.

@@jetthejudgehalo three sniper jackals are totally fine even if they have far range, but they don’t spawn in big groups besides on that first mission wich is closer quarters and not open space so there is cover, and they don’t ya ce ungodly aim. I agree that they are hard but not unreasonably, where as in halo 2 they are unpredictable and shoot you while it looks like they are looking to the side , and they have ungodly aim so they are likely to hit you at the first shot making you more likely to have to memorize the spawns, where as in halo three they aimed to make each encounter different every play through wich they did well at. So ye they are hard but I like that and they implemented it well. But Though I am ok with the halo two sniper jackals I now agree they could be better and they are a big error in halo 2. Also in halo infinite I think it would be AWSOME If halo infinite sniper jackals were mini boss fights like hunters I mean imagine you hear a loud sharp piercing sound and the wall besides you spits out a cloud of debris now that the sniper should be portrayed as a weapon as powerful as it is. So once that shot misses every time they will only spawn when cover is near it if your playing a more linear area than there will always be cover, so with your weapons you could either kill the sniper jackal and take the sniper, wich I think should be a power weapon that will be much more useful than the other games but if you don’t have the right weapons or the guts to kill it you could run past them. I think the encounter itself will be the most important thing, where they will move around and spawn in trees and rooftops, but every once and a while they could shoot randomly, get closer to you, farther away from you and then when they are at low health they will pop out deplorable cover which will give away their spot because the whole time they will be camouflaging with only their headsets glow to give you a small indicator to where they are.
