Another stunning room. You really have a fabulous eye for interior design. I love the prints. Pretty sure that's a barn owl. Owls also symbolise wisdom so perfect for a space for intellectual and creative pursuits!

I'm going to go out on a hunch and say she's interpreting 'Downy Owl' as a nod to the 'Ode on Melancholy' by John Keats, given the context of this video relating to literature. It's more a reference to the owl's meaning, than the breed. Just an FYI.

Beautiful writing desk. I love old wood. Have you read all of LM Montgomery's books? She is famous for her Anne books but wrote the darker Emily of New Moon series, Pat of Silver Bush series and many others. Her descriptions of nature are so beautiful. I think you'd really enjoy them 🪺💐🪻
