Lovely transformation. I'm the opposite, I love my cream and white kitchen and bathroom. After 34 years of a dark ugly kitchen, I got a bright white beautiful one. It's also a VERY small galley kitchen so the cream/white really help make it look bigger and more cheerful. Bouquets of flowers bring in a pop of color.

Our kitchen and living room are a lovely crisp white too - I like that it creates a 'breath of fresh air' when you walk out of the bedroom and other darker rooms 🌹xx

I have feared that the room might be too dark despite having a huge picture window and the room itself being rather large, at 16x16 feet. But seeing how much of a jewel box you have created that is inviting and yet moody without making one feel closed in, I think I am on the right track. Love your bathroom makeover. You’ve turned a zero bathroom into a hero! Well done! 🙌 A great joint effort that has certainly paid off. You’re bringing this old lady back to life, so please give her a chance to shine before you make any decisions to sell. On another ‘Reno’ note - one I’ve been longing to raise with you - the current Colorbond “skirt” around your cottage was put on by the previous owner, with no thought about ventilation. What I’ve learnt from my experiences of living in weatherboard Queenslanders, is that ALL weatherboard houses on stumps MUST have constant flow of air circulation under the house in order to prevent mould from developing and penetrating through the floorboards, and eventually leading to the floorboards succumbing to rot. Please go and check out your neighbour’s cottage for an example on how the timber slats should be fitted around the base. Airflow is extremely important, and I’m sure your wonderful dad would be willing to give you some pointers and advice. And I do hope you’ll forgive me for using this space to raise this subject, but after the very wet winter we’ve had in our little corner of the world, I feel compelled to caution you on what I feel was a very bad choice by the previous owner. Your girl needs to breathe!! And dry out between rainfalls. 🫣🙏😘

Your bathroom came out amazing! We recently remodeled our bathroom, and my vision was woodland greens, as well, mixed with a wood look tile for the shower to reflect our home in the Colorado mountains. Your vintage curios look beautiful and unique. I love your green towels. I had a hard time finding towels in just the right color, design and texture. I finally found plain ones, which are the right color (marsh green). May I ask where you got yours? I love them! Enjoy!🌲

Oh Nancy, I loved how You listened to The Whisperings to Lady Bella Donna , I just adore how it turned out and am Emerald with Envy (A Green of the Most Divine ) ...we have only just got Our Interweb connection back on after an upgrade ...which turned out to be 3 weeks of nothing ..or maybe a chance to reset ...after 3 weeks bed rest after twisting my knee as a Mirthday gift ...I was doing a spot of Gardening and wobbled over a tree root from next door .....one of My Dearest Soul SiSTAR's sent me a Reiki healing and said that the Fairies had been trying to get my attention ...well they certainly did ..lucky and blessed that my Darling had a few weeks in between jobs to take care of me ...a PURRRfect opportunity to read a lot of books while the Cats had turns giving me Catupuncture and purring healing ...I had been missing You posts and THIS was just the Mood enhancer I desired!!
