@Allison Hunter Yes, but the entire story is fiction. I don't see why they would "shrink you" or be unwilling to take advice. Generally speaking, therapists are just normal people with their own historys, issues and internal conflicts. However, they do have a certain advantage because they have developed useful skills for making relationships work more "efficiently" , such as communication skills, conflict resolution techniques and so on. So technically they do have that advantage compared to other people

I think Jack was a real kick start, symbolically, for Rose to get to live a life she could really be happy. She was stuck in her social bubble and her love for Jack bursted it completely. It gave her perspective that there is really much more to live out there and she did (we briefly see the pictures of her travels and adventures in the film). So, despite being sad the fact he died, he really gave her a beautiful present: the courage to live a life of her own. Their love is really inspiring in my opinion and does not create an illusion, but teach us to keep loving ourselves no matter what.

Ross and Rachel were both kind of equally right and equally wrong. I don't think it's very respectful, personally, to sleep with someone a day after you've ended a relationship, but on the other hand Rachel never defined what 'a break' meant. If she had discussed with Ross what the terms were, I'm pretty sure Ross never would've slept with that girl. He viewed it as a break-up so ethically he didn't really do anything wrong.
@recoil535 жыл бұрын
But she never said "break up" and he never asked for clarification. Also, having sex with another the day of the break up is clearly burning your ships behind you - you aren't getting back any time soon. He made that decision. IRL it would obviously be the end of the relationship in the near term. Since relationships takes two parties, there is no argument. You can't ethically strong arm somebody back into a relationship. His choice, but he cut off the future.

The ending makes me sad because it feels like they just got stuck in the relationship all over again. And they hardly talked about Emma, who, as far as I was concerned, was far more important than their relationship. They put their relationship ahead of career and family and for what? Would it last ike they said it would? Just my opinion. I don't have much experience or knowledge about relationships, so feel free to disagree. I dated a man who's 30 and I'm 20 and he gave me few passionate kisses and cuddles on our date and said he got feelings too but later he told that we should stay just friends because we are far away from each other and busy with works. i agreed on it too but i still had hope that we would meet and be together someday. He also texted me on his own sometimes after leaving me in read for 5-6 days, just as casual friend, like how I'm doing. I started falling for him strongly as he was like the one to me. He was so gentleman and everyone around him liked him for his personality. He hid his instagram from me but i found his profile in search, so i followed him with my fake profile when it was in public in the beginning. I know it was lame but still did it anyway. I just over stalked him and even acted lile some other girl and chatted with him amd he also chatted and said he wasn't dating anyone now when he's with me. Later one day, he found out it was me who's stalking and said to never contact him. So we blocked each other now. So was it really my fault that i stalked him and drove him away or else he was gonna go at some point anyway, he's just keeping me around but nothing else serious? It was my first date and a worst experience. I feel like it's my mistake i drove him away that way. It's affecting my daily life badly now, i couldn't concentrate on my things. Please help me out to analyze this and tell me what i can do?
@SometimesAbel5 жыл бұрын
Maddy the way you behaved I.e stalking him like that could have raised red flags on his end. Look at it from his point of view, what would you have done if a guy had done what you had done? Yes, you guys had chemistry but he gave you reasons why it couldn’t continue. (Distance and time). Maybe if you apologized and explained your reasoning for your actions with the understanding that this is not something you will do again, he could agree to friendship...but leave it at that. I was in your shoes, trust me I know how it is when you really like someone and have not met anyone else who matches up! ☺️ But men are hunters for the most part, let them chase. If they want you badly enough, they’ll make the efforts! Focus on you, have fun, go out and work on your goals. If it’s meant to be, he’ll be there. If it’s not, you’re young and beautiful and there are plenty of handsome fish in the sea. 😇
