I am a 70 year old Grandma and you are “too cute for words”!!! I was born in NYC, but have not lived there for many, many years. For some reason, I find anything about NYC real estate fascinating and that’s how I began interest in your channel. Now, I’m finding you are a very interesting person, you seem “very real”, with a great sense of humor. Your apartment is charming and cozy. Have never heard of a task rabbit (I have a handy husband to do that kind of stuff), love that moniker, though. thanks for sharing!!!

@marshaharwood8883Ай бұрын
Growing up in that era, I had a lot of favorites of course Doobie Brothers, Steely Dan, Andy Williams, Kenny Loggins, so many great groups. When I was 10 years old, I heard an album by Herb Alpert who is a trombone player , he had a band called the Tijuana Brass, I don’t know if you’ve ever heard of them, he is phenomenal. He continues to give concerts with his wife Lonnie, and he also contributes to the Harlem school of the arts. If you’ve never had his records or listened to them, I think you would really enjoy them. He has been around since the early 60’s.He was also closely tied to Sergio Menendez and Brazil 66,

Hello, my friend. It's been a while since we last connected. I'm here with my partner, who recently underwent the transplant. It’s been a profound and challenging journey-especially for him, as he’s faced a lot of physical toll. He’s lost so much weight that it’s sometimes hard to recognize him, and it’s been truly heartbreaking for both of us. Thank you so much for sharing such a joyful video; it really brought a smile to my day. I love your haircut-it’s just like mine now, though I’m a brunette. Okay so next time just cut potatoes in half with oil salt and pepper and put them in the oven to roast right away then depends of the salmon is frozen or not put the salmon in foil next to the potatoes with olive oil. The Guggenheim is a favorite of mine as well. It’s where I learned, early on (like junior high) to fall madly in like with the work of Joan Miro, who is still a favorite. I learned to avoid the “too much oil” situation by purchasing my preferred oils in spray containers - works like a charm.

Good morning from sunny blue skies in Greenville SC! Everything I would comment has already been said since you posted this. I’m sorry you have to read this unoriginal comment… You look fantastic in your new cut & color! It’s very chic. The length is quite becoming for your face shape. Love your tree! I had a Christmas tree identical to yours but decided not to keep it when we left MI for SC. I thought having a mock snow-flocked tree in this snowless sunny state would look odd so I’m going to get a green one . Seeing yours makes me realize how much I’ll miss mine as I really prefer the flocked artificial trees. So I’ll just have to enjoy glimpsing yours in your vlogs this season! Your food segment 🙂: I make a dinner exactly like yours- sans the cukes in the arugula. I’m pleased to see you cook and as I’ve mentioned before; it’s nice to see a young woman take time to choose to eat healthily and not live off Uber food delivery of overpriced food. Taking time to shop, prep and cook good food is a sign of self-respect for your body. Others here shared potato prep suggestions with you so I’ll offer a suggestion that will so “up your food game” and offer even more enjoyment. It’s a little thing that makes a BIG difference in the taste of your food: Fresh ground black pepper! Dump the McCormicks canned ground pepper and get yourself some whole peppercorns and a good grinder (William Sonoma sells a Peugeot grinder that’s AWESOME!) and select either Malabar or Tellicherry whole black peppercorns! (I prefer the latter of the two). You will actually taste the pepper then as the ground pepper is bitter and flat. There is a massive amount information on peppercorns, varieties and differences. I only offer this because it’s apparent you care about food quality and many don’t realize exactly how much fresh ground pepper changes food! If you don’t want to invest in a fine pepper mill, start with the whole peppercorns sold in a container that comes with a grinder top. Whole Foods and TJ’s sell them. Not the same quality as the aforementioned pepper and grinder but still a HUGE improvement from ground pepper- typically sold stale. Don’t even get me started on salt! I’ll save that for another future annoyingly long comment! Thank you Gail for sharing your sunshine and life events with us strangers. You know you make a difference in the world when others find joy from viewing your vlogs!
@theregoesgailАй бұрын
Thank you for your thoughtful comment, Carole! I've actually been thinking about getting a pepper grinder, so thank you for the reminder! So happy to hear my videos bring you joy 🫶

I just came across your video and based on your name, I imagined that you were Jewish. If I am wrong, I apologize. If not, I cannot understand why Jews want to celebrate Christmas, though it is largely devoid of any religious meaning now. I am Jewish and though non-observant, I celebrate the Jewish holiday of Chanukah. No offense meant, just curious.
@bree8150Ай бұрын
This is interesting, you’re the second person to comment this on her video. I have no idea if Gail is Jewish, but I am and I put a tree up almost every year. I enjoy the festiveness of it, the smell of the pine (when I get fresh trees), decorating it, the whole shebang. I also have my menorah and dreidels out. To me it’s a cultural experience rather than a religious one and part of the whole December holidays package. Hope that helps from someone who is confirmed Jewish! :)
@sharonsalzberg2654Ай бұрын
@ I can visit people who are Christian and celebrate Christmas and see their tree. I don’t need to borrow their religion and holiday because I like the decorations. Christmas is celebrating the birth of Jesus, who Christians regard as their Lord and Savior .None of that is true in the Jewish religion and we have suffered badly in history because we refused to worship Jesus. When you do not know how Christianity persecuted, expelled, murdered Jews and forced conversions, then maybe you would find it difficult to strip Christmas down to the glitzy decorations. I was raised Jewish and my married son and his family do not bring Christmas into their home . Anti- Semitism is at an old time high right now and pretending to be Christian once a year will never protect you from that sentiment. By the way, the story of Chanukah celebrates the victory of a war fought by the Maccabees, to reclaim the Temple and to be allowed to be Jews. Ironic, isn’t it.
@bree8150Ай бұрын
@@sharonsalzberg2654 I respect your perspective and the way you choose to celebrate (or not).

@sharonsalzberg2654 Christianity is not responsible for killing the Jewish people, Hitler was an occultist disguised as a Christian. Any true Christian does not kill!!! Catholic Jesuits have killed many in the name of Christianity, but that is why Protestants exist! We protest Catholic doctrine because it is not in alignment with the scriptures. We place the authority of God's Word over all other authority.

I admire people like you, who thinks that the world should be interested how you live your life

You don’t need to watch it if you think that way. Personally I find it interesting how people live their daily lives in different parts of the world. Much more interesting than following celebrities.

Hi there - I do not force anyone to watch my content - if you are not interested that is totally okay! I'm sure you can find other videos to watch.

You will feel that way still about cooking when you get old…yum…but a lot of work and cleanup. I’ve discovered MealPro and it’s good! I will still cook occasionally, but not often.
