It helps to tackle cleaning with a top-down process. Start with any high-up dusting etc, followed by wiping down surfaces and vacuuming last. Then you're cleaning up any dust and crumbs etc you've wiped off on the way

Gail I've said this before but you really do have a great sense of style. I really resonate with your love of thrift shops, upcycling, retro-chic and vintage and just making a space a welcoming home. I'm decluttering my kitchen at the moment and its nice to watch a couple of cleaning/decluttering vids whilst I do so. I live alone so its almost like company and stopping me getting FOMO of what else is going on today! Hahah..... like you have a friend doing it with you. The apartment continues to evolve and look fab! Great job :)

I’m a big fan of cleaning wipes. Can wipe down my kitchen, doorknobs, surfaces etc, and clean my bathroom with just a couple wipes every few days. Also, do you mop? I use a swiffer wet jet weekly for quick cleaning everywhere. I loved the long video. I could tidy along with you.

Please keep in mind that the legs and other parts of your furniture collect dust.....not just the surface. And it's good to do an initial wipe off before using the Pledge cleaner .

I LOVE the yellow butter dish!!! Is it Fiestaware? If so, I have the same one in eggplant purple that I found at the Housing Works on 2nd Ave & 90th. It’s the perfect touch of whimsy and color for a small NYC kitchen. Besides all that, loved your video, as always. Good luck with marathon training!

Your apartment is super cute. My personal opinion is that it doesn't matter what order you clean in, just be glad it was cleaned. What kind of vacuum cleaner did you use, I have not seen one like it.

This was so cozy 🕯️🍂🍁 Live in Denmark so it’s evening here when I watch and already cleaned my apartment today. For me it works best to divide the cleaning tasks into smaller groups. Saturdays = floors, Mondays = kitchen, Tuesdays = living/dining room, Wednesdays = bedroom, Thursdays = entry way, Fridays = anything extra. That’s how I manage to stay on top of things, while only spending few minutes each day 🙌 BTW: really like the music you use in your videos.
