I've also never seen a Helicopter ride like that nor heard of a Lady Lock - it looked good ! I just love you two! Everyone loves a good or fancy meal in a restaurant, but carnival food brings back the nostalgia of childhood! You two were adorable in the Fun House! Great job! Hi John and Bobby, I have always wanted to go to a state fair, but never made it. The closest thing we have here in Canada to a state fair is in Toronto. Ontario is called the CNE or national exhibition. The CNE is always held the last two weeks of August, it does lots of great rides and fun fair food, such as tiny Tom donuts. Tom donuts are miniature donuts that are made fresh at the fair and hot. You can get them with powder, sugar or cinnamon sugar. When I was a kid back in the 70s and 80s you could get one dozen tiny Tom donuts for $.75, but now I’m sure the price is increased maybe 10 or $12 per dozen.

2020-2021, most carnivals were canceled. Wildwood boardwalk was open very similar to carnivals & country fairs. Same feeling, rides & food booths.

I'm from Philly and people rarely get the bread right on Cheesesteaks. And while many people like Wiz on steaks, I'm a purist and only accept mozzarella or provolone on my steaks. When I make them where I live now (PORTLAND Oregon) I use baguettes and I stick them under the broiler to get a good melt on the cheese. I always have fried onions on mine and like bell peppers thinly sliced and mushrooms. Not for everyone, but I like em MY way! For the side, gotta have cheese fries-Wiz is OK on them. Need to have cherry peppers and pickles on the side. So good with this meal! When I'm in Philly, I like Steve's in NE Philly because they are a mile or so from where I grew up! Pats and Genos are conveniently on the way to the airport, but neither is as good as in years gone by. If I am going to stop in South Philly, I'd go to Willie's on 9th for a roast pork with peppers. Go with your hands free. You will need them for all the juicy greatness of this sammich! Bonne Appetit!

I'd like to invite you both to the Evergreen State Fair, in Monroe Washington! Lots of food and drink (including Purple Cows, kettle corn, and pieshakes); 4H animals, and arts & crafts; and open class competitions (I usually enter 3 or 4 different cookies, and sometimes cake decorating). There won't be any baking competitions this year because they couldn't get enough judges (serious bummer!), but it's better than last year (they had to cancel last year's due to Covid 😭). The last time the fair was cancelled was WWII. Again, thank you both for the video! Everything looked tasty, even the deep fried Three Musketeers!

Though back in 2011 Bloomsburg had to cancel the fair that year because about 3 weeks before the fair was suppose to happen a hurricane came up the coast and dumped a lot of rain on the eastern part of pa and new York that year and the Bloomsburg pa is along the susquehanna River and the other side of the Bloomsburg fair grounds is fishing creek that year both fishing creek and the susquehanna River met and the Bloomsburg fair grounds was under anywhere from 7 to 10 feet of water that was why they canceled the fair in 2011

Going to the fair tomorrow, so excited for the food. I’ll probably only ride the Ferris wheel. In my teens I could ride absolutely everything. Now I get nauseous in car rides 😫
