New surgical cases are the most important because it's the first opportunity for your product to shine or fall.
If you're not on top of things, it's easy for the first case to go poorly, then you are struggling to get case two. First impressions matter in our industry and in every industry - it's a reality of how human beings operate.
That's why it's also important to make sure you get more than a one case commitment from the doctor. You want to be sure to have a second case lined up and a commitment from the surgeon prior to the first case. That way you can address anything that comes up that you weren't prepared for in the first case, for the second case.

I am finishing my Bachelors of Science in Science Marketing and am looking for a career in pharmaceutical or medical device sales. I also have a Diploma in Pharmacy Tech, I love helping patients and physicians in the field 😄 good videos

I've applied to multiple companies and I have not heard back for an interview. Makes me feel depressed and very frustrated.

Kolby Wood I have applied to seven different companies. I haven’t heard back from any of them. I have not talked to anyone who also applied because I’m not sure how to check on that.

@@bremenfan29 also, I have over 200 surgeons who I have reached out to, many multiple times, in my CRM who I haven't received a response from (just for context). This is sales.
