I did a cooking apprenticeship in a Michelin star restaurant and I learned so much there, but I noticed that long term I want to do something more impactful. I am now working on what I really want to do, and you play no small role in that. Also this video was really great to see what you actually live like. Very humble. Very real. That is so refreshing in this "self-development" space. Just a normal human being doing the right things, but not hyper-obsessing. Really really great. Loved this one, Dan. We’re always looking for our heroes & mentors to show something oddly unique & specific in how they spend their time each day, and typically we discover that they spend their time very similarly to how we’re already spending ours. The magic is in being honest with what we’re actually doing, building & creating in those work blocks, and what we’re really doing when we show up to the gym, and what we’re really eating. How you spend your day in particular, is not complex, but we look for complexity. The answer is actually doing the basics, the simple stuff, and being honest with ourselves about the degree of quality, consistency & intentionality in our output & execution in those simple, obvious parts of our day.

A behind the scenes look into the way you choose to live your life is interesting. Learning more about you and seeing where your personal brand came from is something I’m focused on right now. Actively working on reps through a set of exercises you taught “One Person Business”, “4 Hour Workday”, and “Digital Leverage” to architect the business of me I’m building. Years ago people disappointed me and I vowed to not let anyone steal my time and equity%. Here I am after years of health, relationship, and work issues that were sucking the life out of me. Even though I gave, my returns were pathetic. So I’m chiseling away at the stone to carve out the man people will admire 1,000 years from now. Thank you Dan.

I love this video because it shows you in your real life and gives such a great insight into how you run things. One of my philosophies is around ‘there are no absolutes’, you kind of speak about this in your videos without labelling it. I approach my life much the same, for example exercise everyday and eat clean. Now that doesn’t mean that happens 100% of the time it’s what happens most of the time and allows me to ‘be normal’ like you mention when eating out with family and friends

Hi Dan, I just wanted to say thank you for deciding to make this type of creation as a part of your life's mission and purpose. I've been mentored by other successful people who've "made it" many years ago but I always thought that it was just missing something. Thank you for helping me put a name on it (at least so far) and being that first role model for me in this area of my life. I believe what was missing was Creation- not even in an "artsy" or ultra-passionate sense. But could even be taken in a sense of creating your own world or bubble in reality where others find value and solutions to their problems. Not sure which video or newsletter you've said this in- but I also believe (just like you do) that part of true holistic success is creating your own niche (which takes a ton of effort. and i very much respect you for probably the unbelievable time and effort you've put in to create). Much love, Dan. I've been a lurker for quite a bit. But I've benefited quite a lot from this world or niche you've built so far. It's the first time I've understood and felt understood by someone- while being provided actionable knowledge. And I'm not even enrolled in Kortex University yet. The value you provide is insane. I'm excited to see where you take this and excited to grow with you 🧡
