This isn’t a typical motivational video that I would watch passively when I’m bored and then save to a watch later playlist, never to be touched again. It is the most important video I’ve ever watched. You’re insanely underrated. Thank you.

Anti-Visions are THE secret to endless motivation... When your primary driver is to avoid a situation you consider to be a worst-cases scenario (i.e., working a 9-5 until you're 65), you will do whatever it takes to not end up in it. If you don't, you need a new anti-vision.
@thelifewithnate8 ай бұрын
Bingo, funny how you summarized my anti-vision in a nutshell mate. It'll take years to reach the ideal future I want to create, but at least you can learn a ton of things along the way.

@@thelifewithnate I’m right there with you Nate! Just gotta keep that anti-vision in mind and we’ll make it!
@AmplifiedtIntentions8 ай бұрын
So true. My anti-visions light the fire, constantly motivating me to get up, to keep going, to stay at it, to follow through, to initiate one more time, to stick it out, to keep showing up, and to go out and really get it. It's intense because my IDENTITY depends on it. How I view myself is how the world views me, so I view myself as someone who can handle operating at high levels of tenacity with ease and grace, and am able to rise to the occasion with the right level of energy and purpose. The contrast between where I want to be, what i'm worth, what I deserve, and the anti-vision of what I don't want, what I don't deserve, what i'm settling for...what I could have had, etc is enough to wake me up from my sleep after just a few sleep cycles. If I don't make some form of progress I'll feel overwhelmed by my underlying anti-visions. Powerful motivation to act, indeed!

The breakdown of the '12 Rules of Creation' really resonates with the entrepreneurial spirit. One advanced tip for maintaining focus is to leverage the 'Pareto Principle' in goal setting-prioritize the 20% of your tasks that will yield 80% of the results, which can significantly boost productivity and clarity in your mission. This approach aligns perfectly with the 'Standards' and 'Goals' sections discussed in the video.
@tylerdetermined8 ай бұрын
Rule 1 - Create an anti-vision. Start a running note of experiences you don't want to repeat. 4:08 Rule 2 - Have a vision. Every decision we make needs to be filtered through this vision. Create a minimal visble vision of everything you want out of life. 4:40 Rule 3 - Mission. Anything that is not aligned with your mission should be treated as a distraction 5:30 Rule 4 - Standards. You aren't where you want to be because you're okay with where you are. Standards are absorbed by our environment 5:55 Rule 5 - Goals. Big goals are for direction. Small goals are for clarity. Be stubborn with vision, loose with details. 7:34 Rule 6 - Projects. Learning comes from struggle not memorization. Build, then learn. 8:06 Rule 7 - Education. There is a skillset and mindset required to complete your projects. Daily learning is a cornerstone habit. 8:30 Rule 8 - Limitation. What are you not willing to sacrifice to achieve your goals. 9:05 Rule 9 - Levers. Priorities task the needle or you projects, goals, and vision. See everyday as a practice and process rather than an outcome. 9:41 Rule 10 - Challenge. Challene is the source of enjoyment. It is at edge of our ability. 10:52 Rule 11 - Curiosity. Be willing to steer off course and discover new potential. 11:24 Rule 12 - Experimentation. Avoid becoming dogmatic about the single right way. 12:03 13:16 you right now are the manifestation of your pass choices. 1. Who you want to become 13:35 2. The choices that will take you there.

Auguri Nicola, e scusa l'intromissione. Vito

I am impressed by your grasp of the human condition and grateful to live in this era of information sharing. I encourage you to consider there is a difference of being unwilling (to work hard) vs truly ignorant of possibilities. In the conditioned existence of my youth (which affected my early adulthood) I could not work toward something I could not fathom. I grew up so sheltered, so structured in many ways, that I didn't know what was even possible. But I was taught to work hard. It's not a matter of willingness to work hard that was my challenge. It was that I couldn't conceive I could work hard for my own vision instead of someone else's. Thanks for your energy and instruction in this potentially life changing topic.

If you're not writing this down, what are you doing? That's a fucking teacher right there. I remember grade ten work experience doing construction.
