I like this guy. He's NOT one of the kinds that think a Prius is shit. A Prius wasn't made to drive like a BMW it was made to get 50MPG. Haters shut the hell up the world would be completely diffrent if the Corolla and Prius were not here.

Good review. Thanks. We have two Prius hatchbacks. When the older one starts to have issues I'm thinking of getting a Prius C. These are great cars. We average 45 to 52 mpg. We have a combined 177,000 miles on the cars with ZERO problems. We haven't even had to change the brakes in the 2008 Prius. Our Prius cars have over 20 Cu Ft of cargo space with the rear seats up. They both have spare tires (I won't buy a car without them). They both get great mileage. They have very good rear seat leg room. I have few complaints about these cars but I hate the gauges being toward the center of the dash. I prefer the traditional gauges in front of the driver. I'm not a fan of the newly designed 2016 Prius hatchback model. My brother has a Prius C and his experience is the same. Zero problems after three years.

As far as turning radius, the car in this video has the OEM 16" wheels which means it's got a different steering system than the OEM 15" version. The turning radius is much smaller for 15" cars just so everyone is aware.

Great video Dave. I think I'll drop acouple MPGs for a Prius V, which is bigger and probablity more comfortable. I already got the Prius hatchback so the C and V are the only ones to chose from.

Not bad. I like the way it looks, but the I think I'd spend a little more and buy a standard Prius instead. The rear drums on the Prius C doesn't inspire too much confidence when driving down a mountain after a hike/bike ride/snowboarding session.

The bike without front wheel on has to rest ontop of the passenger headrest in order to fit? If your alone, that's one thing, but if you have passenger (like picking up your kid and his or her bike), this would not fly. I do like the mountain bike test as I've picked up my kids and put their bike in the trunk of my Fusion many times (EPA 23/33), cost low 20s and no batteries or electric motor with real back seat room.

The honda fit seems to be on the more expensive side! I guess the prius loses it's value a lot! Because initially it's thousands of dollars over the honda fit. But not when it hits certain mileage

the car gets good gas mileage but how far will we go just for a few extra miles when most people in a day well maybe not most a lot of people drive a lot of miles and far. they should come up with a car that can 3 days without recharging a battery or something but not have a gas engine

I just bought a Prius I have to say its a great high mileage car but it has a big blind spot on the rear of the driver side due to curvature of car. Other then that its a great car for being a niche market car. I don't support environmentalist movement this car has following it because reality is it still requires oil, gas, tires, batteries, and money. You can save the earth by being friendly, and knowledgeable because god takes care of the rest. Wish it came in a diesel and had a ultra capacitor paired battery pack then where talking about a great 100 mpg car.
@Statimtek
@Statimtek 10 жыл бұрын
"God takes care of the rest?" Really? What makes you think that is an invisible sky daddy up there to "take care of the rest?" It is up to us as tangible human beings to take care of our planet and all that lives on it, not some mythical being that comes from bronze age fairy stories.People like you, with misinformed ideas like you have is what will doom humankind. Each one of us has a duty to look after our charge(planet earth & and our fellow primates) there is no one else to do it for us.Please reconsider you're worldview.
@egn83b
@egn83b 10 жыл бұрын
Yes, god can take care of the rest because I am not going to spend time worrying about things I can't control. You of all people should understand that, you can't control the environment or any factor of the weather, can you? I will never surrender my belief in the lord for political movements or generational fads. I am not a Jones town camp member. If someone chooses to use plastic or paper bags more power to them. If your not aware everything on this green earth recycles right down to the minerals. Remember this the devil has his people and god has his people. The lord gave you a choice to believe in him or let man bring you down and everything man builds let you down. Time moves on and people forget about the environment. Besides god is love and understanding. What does environmentalism teach besides taking care of objects that will recycle on their own without human or animal intervention. My world view is none of anyone's affair.
@Statimtek
@Statimtek 10 жыл бұрын
egn83b Forget about the environment and instead believe in a invisible friend? You say you shouldn't worry about things you cant control, but why think you have an invisible friend that is watching out after you when there is no more evidence for god existing than say Santa Claus. Can you please explain your logic? I do not understand how someone can think this way.
@egn83b
@egn83b 10 жыл бұрын
Because if you pickup the bible and take a chance and believe in something beyond yourself and the things around you will find out who you are and where you stand in the world. Since you asked god is in spiritual form we are in physical form two different mediums but he offers life, truth, and guidance. When has a single politician or comic hero offered that?

What a waste of time..... He talks about the expense of gas, but then buys a 6 dollar coffee milkshake drink. The only value I received from this video is that now I know that a bike (with wheel off) will fit inside the Prius C. That was a concern for me.

What a strange review...focuses exclusively on gas mileage (at the expense of the quality of the vehicle, which isn't very high on this little dud), then proceedes to go load up on a 7 dollar sugar bomb from *$...ok.
