A Day with BALD and BANKRUPT | Ukraine 🇺🇦

I spent the day riding around the Darnyts'kyi region of Kiev, Ukraine on bicycles with Mr. Bald and Bankrupt in search of Soviet Mosaics. Along the way, we speak to Babushkas, have a pull up contest, ride along the Dnipro River, visit a pet cemetery, and look for Gopniks. I learned so much about the former Soviet Union republics and their history and culture from Johnny and Bald than I ever will taking a university class and wasting useless tuition money. Eastern Europe is a very interesting and fascinating place that most of us don't hear about often

When installed, in our country everybody used them as rug beating stand. Not so much biceps but hell of a lot of dust :D I can still remember the smell of a fresh beaten -then vinegar-brushed carpet in the apartment every Saturday. Specially in the winter, when you had to lay down your rug or carpet in the snow, beat it, brush it, put it on the stand and beat it again. Man, it takes me back. If you objected to your Mom, you ended up getting all the whooping instead of the carpet. #PreciousMoments

Wow. As a person who was born in Kiev and lived there till my 30-s I can say that I haven't seen that pet's cemetery. Amazing. And so much nostalgie... actually the chemistry research institute is just a few hundred meters from the house where I grown up (you actually passed it at one moment).

Great tour! But as I'm from Darnitsa, I can say it was Dniprovskii district, not Darnitskii. You didn't manage to get through the bridge over the railroads just behind the mosaic and it's where Darnitskii district really starts. Maybe, you were confused, because in Dniprovskiy district we have Darnitska square and a metro station called Darnitsa (I know this sounds hilarious, but it's fact🤣🤣🤣)
