What I'd assume is that they don't have money to spend, let alone waste, on frivolous purchases. When you're not in a good place, financially, you probably shouldn't be going out buying $4-12 coffee. That adds up, and certainly isn't going to change your circumstances.... that's all I'm saying. When you're broke, and you want coffee... you really oughta brew it yourself - or expect to stay broke. And that's just the way it be. (All that being said, I also understand how we don't get every detail in the movie world; it's possible her host family gave her a $20 and said "go into town, check things out - treat yourself," blah blah blah... I looked it up and read the comments before I viewed this movie. I think that was the only way to go because I've been laughing since it started now about five minutes in. When he told his editor he was "clean and sober" and then proceeded to open his desk drawer and reveal a big bottle of liquor, I lost it.😂😂😂😂. Hilarious. OMG! I'm thinking I'll have to take regular breaks as I watch to truly appreciate what is being done and not let it just pass over because every minute is gold.

Omg I only wish they had somehow been able to make this into a comedy. I can’t take it seriously. These two have made me laugh so many times I just keep waiting for them to break character.
