A friend of mine just got this cue and brought it over last night for me to try. I have never jumped ever in my life and i found this very easy to use. It helps that my friend is a phenomenal player so he taught me quickly.. Love this sue looking to buy one soon

Nice product review Ron. I have the BK Rush break/jump version in this. You do make a great point. They are not cheap. But I will say, Predator products are well worth the money and hold their value. Nicely done my friend.

How is the jumping with the break/jump combo? Some say harder on short shots.
@ronthepoolstudent2 жыл бұрын
@@danielvelkovski3156 I think you’re asking Andy this question Daniel but incase it’s aimed at me, when I used to use a break/jump cue, this cue blows that cue away in both conventional and in the dart stroke. This being said, that cue was a “Rage” break/jump however.
@danielvelkovski31562 жыл бұрын
@@ronthepoolstudent The Rage break/jump is what I’m using currently. I have success with the breaks but have to muscle it. I break surprisingly better with a 17oz regular cue. Oddly, I used the Rage as a playing cue for fun and my shots were going in and the draw I was getting was surprisingly better than my regular cue (revo 12.9 19.5oz). I wonder why that is. But anyway, it appears that it is probably better to buy a separate break and separate jump cue. Even the Predator jump/break combo has a little disclaimer on that. Says breaks the same but for jump shots it slacks off on short jumps but fairs in med-long range. But the cost seems fair vs buying them separate.
@ronthepoolstudent2 жыл бұрын
@@danielvelkovski3156 spot on Daniel with your comment about the rage as a jump cue. You do have to muscle it where as the AirRush has fire power. The AirRush propels the cue ball effortlessly in comparison. It performs better even with short range jumps while dart stroking too. As for breaking, I’ve been using my sparring partner’s Predator 3. jump cue. That thing is far superior to that of the heavy Rage. Because of this, I gave away my Rage to a friend that was thinking of buying one. I now have to decide if I want to purchase one. Btw, if I only shot on a seven foot table, I’d opt to use my Champion shooting cue as a break cue with its super hard tip.

I definitely need one of them in my life 😍👍. Predator definitely don’t mess around with great looking product. I have their BK Rush redline. I hope they make a red one soon. Thanks for the video Ron. 🤩👍

You think using the shaft as a breaker would work well? Assuming the rush jump and break shafts are similar in terms of being pretty stiff with hard tips.
@VetteWay2Fast9 ай бұрын
Thinking of maybe throwing the shaft on another butt and breaking with it
@ronthepoolstudent9 ай бұрын
I’ve actually broke with the AirRush and it works fairly well VW2F. This said, there’s no comparison to the Cuetec Cenergy Breach I shoot with today.

Switching out the shaft to a different butt may work so try it. Personally, I prefer the Taom composite breaking tip on my Breach over phenolic.

Good to know. Have u tried the break rush compared to the breach? Was looking at both
@VetteWay2Fast9 ай бұрын
Yea I don’t do a whole lot of jump shots as they aren’t allowed at my local pool hall but thinking about picking one up for my home table and it doubling as a breaker would be ideal paired with a heavier butt.

So does it make jumping alot easier I have one in the mail can't wait to get it I've seen a couple players in my league with it and it seems to get the ball off the table incredibly easy

It sure does Thor. I could barely jump with accuracy prior to and now I’m over 60% on long jumps. I’m even better on short jumps. It’s an amazing weapon to add to our arsenal. Thanks for the question T 👍🏻

Can you do a comparison with the cuetec propel. Or your thoughts on them.
@ronthepoolstudent2 жыл бұрын
Sorry, I’ve never used the Cuetec Propel f1. I did however purchase a new Cuetec cue but it’s their Synergy Breach break cue. The tip on their break cue is incredible so I’d be interested in knowing how good the tip is on the Propel as well. Thanks for the question though.

1 Question: Did Predator send it to you for your KZbin channel?
@ronthepoolstudent3 жыл бұрын
Heck no! Lol, I bought it to learn how to jump. Btw, my Predator Z3 shooting shaft has to be replaced. After only four months, it warped an eighth of an inch starting ten inches from the tip. I’ve marked the end so I’ll know I have the bow up when I shoot. For a $300 shaft, I’m not impressed. 🤷🏻♂️

@@Soul_Freezer if you are referring to the AirRush, I don’t know. My Z3 maple shooting shaft is badly warped so I’m about to put Predator to the test on that one.

Its carbon & play with wood . Buy I'm getting it. Also Ron I have my monthly tournament of 635 fargo & under this weekend 48 players ill let you know how I did. Still waiting on my Fargo bump too. Well I finished 2nd place in a pool tournament yesterday wow I was on fire 🔥 I was knocking them dead! I played a couple of guys that were better than me and beat them too! I haven't shot this good in over 3 months!! I just need to work more on drills!! I had a long cut on the 8-ball and so I was thinking of it like a long putt in golf and made it! In one of my matches
