I don't think washing regularly first and doing this afterwards makes any sense. The product is wash n' coat. I don't know how much it really cleans though, but it's meant to wash and seal on one stage. So, what I'm thinking is having shampoo in the backet (reset) not just water and having the Hydro2 foam in a pump foamer in hand. And just foaming the panel first and handwashing with the mitt right after. This will consume about 1L solution (50mL of product) and maybe less as well as using the foaming method that the company and other reviews have shown is best.

You dont dilute it 1:9 in the wash bucket. Only in the foam cannon.

Why not just use Hydro 2 lite and save all that time and water?

That would be ideal but I think the point he's trying to make is how much further you can stretch your dollar (Bang for buck) doing it this way.

I just grabbed a bottle of Turtle Wax Ice Seal n Shine from Walmart tonight for 6.97 and will apply it the similar way, but not diluted. I do dilute Sonax BSD when applying after a wash, but only after I have put full strength a 1st application.

Just trying sonnax bsd this month. Heavenly smell. Awesome beading. But it attracts dust
