It's heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time❤ Ed reminds me of my late father in law who was an airline pilot and at 89 he still believed that the airline would call him back any day and ask him to command a flight. Love to Ed and family from Mumbai India
@marlonbabb2034 Жыл бұрын
That's so understandable , he must have flown planes for decades. I'm a Flight Attendant and I've worked with some of those guys that's ALL the consume their lives with , is Aviation 🤗... I've seen a few guys retire by force because of age 65 ( I just heard they're extending retirement by 2 yrs ) and a few of them would take on call/part time jobs just Taxing Planes from the Hangers to the Gates , just to get back on the planes , they are company men... I have a Aunt that's in a Living Facility with Dementia and she was a RN for 40+ yrs , so when she 1st got there she would try to take other residents Temps & what not... It's amazing how the brain works, it's so fragile. I like how some ppl only go back to the loving gentle parts of their lives as opposed to being constantly confused & combative , my Dad's at that stage right now , and it's hard sometimes. I just agree with everything he says, when I visit🤗🥰

Spirulina microalgae contain a plethora of nutrient and non-nutrient molecules providing brain health benefits. Numerous in vivo evidence has provided support for the brain health potential of spirulina, highlighting antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and neuroprotective mechanisms. Preliminary clinical studies have also suggested that spirulina can help to reduce mental fatigue, protect the vascular wall of brain vessels from endothelial damage and regulate internal pressure, thus contributing to the prevention and/or mitigating of cerebrovascular conditions. Furthermore, the use of spirulina in malnourished children appears to ameliorate motor, language, and cognitive skills, suggesting a reinforcing role in developmental mechanisms. Evidence of the central effect of spirulina on appetite regulation has also been shown. This review aims to understand the applicative potential of spirulina microalgae in the prevention and mitigation of brain disorders, highlighting the nutritional value of this “superfood”, and providing the current knowledge on relevant molecular mechanisms in the brain associated with its dietary introduction. Keywords: spirulina, seaweeds, brain health, BDNF, nutraceuticals

Reminds me of my nana. How the progression of the disease affects speech. She was the same though, always wanting to know we were all ok. Although her obsession wasn't about keys or wallets, she would constantly ask when the babies were due, and check if we were pregnant. It became a family joke, I already had my 4 and my sis had one. The last time we saw my nana (unknow to me at the time) my sister whispered in her ear before we left that she was pregnant. Finally nana would have been right to talk about babies being born...she died 15 days later😢. I love watching your videos, as a nurse, I love how you keep grandad as independent and mobile as you can, it's so important. You are all doing an amazing job and I hope the US has lots of resources and help for you as carers. Much love from the UK
