@@enigma7784 It’s amazing the impact these shows and movies have on us. There’s a lot of people out there that don’t get it, but they don’t have to. I started with Dragon Ball Z when there was just the Sayan Saga playing at 7:00 AM on Sunday mornings in Philly, ca. 1996. I deeply love that series, as well as the original. I did not embrace later series with the artistic changes, but I respect them. I feel your pain and loss, either way.

Now that we are as hindsight-aware of Toriyama's mortality as he had been for the last several years we should all feel so grateful that he gave Dragonball one final push to providence that will stick around for years to come. If it had simply ended with GT the franchise may have gradually fallen into historical anime obscurity as time moved on, but now it is a story that truly impossible the world to forget. Perfect timing, something to enjoy while I’m at work, I’ve always loved the origin story of Toriyama because with everything in regards to his career/mangas, he just winged it, never planned too far ahead and never put too much thought into it all, just went with what came to mind and created magic. I'll be 37 this year, and for 29 of those years Chrono Trigger has been my all time favorite video game and one of my favorite pieces of media in general. I'm working through my way thru the DS version for the first time and I've just been taking my time to really soak in all the designs and animated cut-scenes (and the music, of course). Once I'm done with that, I've got a couple Dragon Quest games loaded on my 3DS so I can keep honoring Toriyama-sensei all year, and for years to come. Thanks for this video, Geekdom! ❤ i knew some stuff related to Toriyama but didnt know that the reason Toriyama never wanted to talk with the medis as because the media back in the day being all over hia wedding, which was private. You get your mind internally affected when the media wants to be at your wedding and ask questions about Toriyama work when he was supposed to be on vacation at that time. The beauty abour Toriyama, is how much his work build generations of how to write manga but also on how many fields in health, psychology, comedic he inspired people to tackle live. He truly lived to be known as Master because he mastered us all to be the best version of ourselvea despise life not always be at our side. I dont believe in religion but Toriyama felt like a deity to this world we live, to everyone who fights everyday to be better and show the world nobody how hard we try, we can still make a chance in this world through our love for people and Toriyama did that.
