What a blast! The kids truly brought their A-game. The kids were so funny, and their adventures in Starport Borgo had me laughing and rooting for them! It was a great time!

Feels like you gave the show more of a chance in the second episode. Brutus, the head pirate, is a wolf-like alien not a bat. In the original Star Wars, before the new SFX was added, his species was in the cantina.

You may remember the pirate Vane from The Mandalorian. This takes place around the same time as Ahsoka. The New Republic is what came after The Empire and before the First Order. Mon Mothma is the leader of The New Republic. They have Old Republic credits from hundreds or thousands of years ago. We don't know why yet. My guess is the planet has been cut off from the rest of the galaxy for hundreds or thousands of years and they're still using the same currency. I'm sure it'll be revealed.

Don’t force someone who hates the show to watch it because it really just pulls down the entire show and you will lose your viewers and patrons. The reactions were slightly better than the first episode but obvious that Rekkai still was not willing to give the show a chance. This show is geared toward ages 9+ and I’m saddened that this seems to be the only channel that has reacted so negatively to it. Yes there are reactors who have said it’s not for them but they have not been so full of vitriol as I’ve seen in these 2 episodes on this channel. Also maybe rethink the first episode about why they included the world-building elements and set up some mysterious backstory for the main characters. These are the things we used to have in good storytelling tv. I hope it will pan out but I’m not going to berate it before it has a chance to do its job. Just things to ponder….

Not that I like this show at all but - I think it's not that it's set in the Old Republic, it's that their planet has been cut off from everyone else since the time of the Old Republic (hence the reaction to their credits and the 'myth' of At-Attin)

It doesn't really matter because they were released on the same day, but this and 1x1 should have been cut as a single pilot episode, maybe shaving a little to keep it at around hour (minus the credits). With maybe the lone exception of Andor, the episodic cuts are a pretty consistent flaw with all these shows.

so basically rekkai says this is a 7 except for some moronic rule that 7 is for cowards so we might as well rate things 1-5. but them im sure we would have a moronic rule of 3 is for cowards because 3 is literally mid while this apparently is a bit above mid? and yea being overly critical of a kids show..... lets not forget we have a ENTIRE GENERATION that crew up LOVING jar jar binks.... because he was made for kids..... he was their target audience and they fricken LOVED him. and even now as adults they still love him because its imprinted on them. you wanna talking about grooming.... that applies to more then sexual stuff. everything we do is grooming. school? church? santa? easter bunny? all grooming.

Episode 2 did make it a little better than Episode 1. I still have doubts about this show overall.

I enjoyed this reaction, I feel the same way. Goonies had heart, like yall said every character was interesting and endearing. This show I could really could care less none of the characters were interesting or engaging and this plot is weaker than Steve Urkel. I'm honestly not going to watch anymore but I'll 100 keep supporting yall on this reaction if you go the distance. Yall better than me. I'm done until Andor S2.
