The thing about Ren is he doesn't follow rules...he just does his thing. How many people rap (was MG3 rap) over a grand piano and the strings... Ren is a storyteller and an artist. No genre can hold him.

Little bit of info: he sings about sea shells being sold. There was a guy who started a business selling exotic seashells and when he died he passed the business to his sons who invested in oil and used a shell as the emblem to honour their dad, the new business was shell oil...

It's also an illusion to "she sells sea shells by the sea shore" which in Hi, Ren is I think, in context, a reference in turn to the titular rap battle by Eminem in 8 mile

So much attn to detail, to the lyrics, flow, music, visuals, pausing and tension building… he transcends music into storytelling, film making, theatre… its IMMENSELY satisfying. And all on a shoestring budget with a close team of friends all working together to express the art visually. I adore Ren, but also the way it’s a team effort, with everyone in that video and behind the camera performing their part, not like it’s a job but like it really matters. Coz it does.

Anyone ever feel insulted and get defensive when you try introducing Ren to someone, thinking it’s going to blow their minds, but instead they’re like “Meh. It’s not my thing” In my head I’m like “No! You’re not allowed to not like it! It’s not a matter of opinion. This man is a genius and what he’s doing is once in a lifetime type shit” I hate to say it, but I can’t help but feel like those people just don’t have their finger on the pulse of true originality, musical talent and writing ability

Secondly being real not reacting to milk subs like a lot channels did just doing Ren and exaggerating at times to draw ren fans in for numbers.Dont get the wrong impression REN is my favorite artist currently. I,ve always had a talent of sensing, seeing and identifying bullshit.Ive stopped following several reactors for those reasons. MONEY game 3 makes me positive Ren if choosing to could be a movie producer and actor doing them greatly. Whoever our maker is smacked the talent attributes on maximum for this fuckin man

First, if you wouldn't mind, not to be the Inquisition here, but your user name is super sus to me.. are you a bot, by chance? Not that it •definitely• matters, it sorta depends if it does Second, what is a 'milk sub'? I gotta know I mean, I get doing the d-riding reactions for subs and views, etc of bands and artists that you can smell it when someone is NAWT gonna be jamming to it in their car, shaking the suspension with the decibels.. but I guess Im not sure of the context and the way you phrased it, I just think maybe I'm not keeping up with the kids and the slang on the streets, so if you could spare a moment to enlighten me, I would be ever so grateful Thank you, either way, Suki

Thanks REN and thank you for reacting! You, my friend are the second American, out of two different reactions, to point out trigger control!!! To responsible gun owners in America, this is taught at an early age, but Ren is a “Brit” and unlikely to have spent any time around actual guns(shotguns, pistols, or rifles).Hopefully he IS extremely careful around “prop” guns. Ren’s performance in all three videos, was masterful.

So cool you did all 3 parts together!! An epic reaction to an epic trilogy!! 2 one takes and I know you said you don't like lyric videos but this was not your average lyric video the imagery was relevant which you saw. Part 1 I think I read took over 100 takes to get it right, part 3 is basically a short movie with amazing storytelling and superb camera work and coordination to put the whole thing together. Which part was your favourite?? For me mg1 sets the scene of the masked man being us blind to what's happening until Ren draws eyes on him, part 2 lyrically lays it all out in a way anyone can understand (I'm sure a few years I've seen the 10 steps part as a meme on the internet), and then part 3 puts it all together with Jimmy to show how we are all part of it, and the father could easily represent society that drives us to believe you always need more... So creative to put it all into these 3 songs I love them all

It's great that Ren isn't pointing fingers at any one person or group of people, but at everyone, including himself. I think it's only from that perspective that we can change things. It's interesting that he released his treasure hunt game right before releasing this, because the game suggests a path to change: everyone participates and cooperates in the search for solutions. That's how the game was set up. The puzzles, clues and passwords were almost impossible for individuals to figure out, so it required discussion between people from all backgrounds and walks of life, from computer coding people to history buffs to musicians, etc., etc. In the Money Game, it's dog-eat-dog and "each man for himself....." Fire reaction, btw!

I watched so many reactions of part 3 and everyone always mentioned his trigger disapline but thats the whole point. Jimmy becomes phsycotic without a care in the world he doesn't care who lives or dies. The only thing that matters is money until his perspective changes and he sees that living for money was a mistake and then offs himself. I think the lack of trigger disapline was a genious move. He took the time to learn enough about guns to pick the 1911 which is a 45 calibre to match Jimmy's age and have the correct amunition sitting on the table so it would be a mistake to think he wouldn't take time to learn trigger disapline while handling a firearm. But it was a creative choice to show Jimmy's mindset.

I felt pure joy just watching your face throughout that whole trilogy Jay... i knew exactly how you were gonna react so it was cathartic af! Personally I love Ren so fkn much... like I have a very eclectic taste in music and before i discovered Ren my favourite artists were prince, johnny cash, eminem, lil wayne, sam cooke, Busta Rhymes, Jay-Z, Jennifer Hudson, Amy Winehouse... and many many others! Eclectic af!!! Since discovering Ren I don't even need to stop and think if someone asks me who my favourite artist is. I've never felt so passionately about the musicality, artistry, theatricality and pure genius of one person in my life... I can also say that even though it may not be my favorite song and other artists hold places in my top 10... the 2nd verse of money game pt 2 (she sells sea shells) is my favourite lyrical piece ever! It is absolutely your right to not "choose a side", nor do you have to vote. As if our votes matter anyway. White republican here with black men that married into my family circle and helped raise me - there is no difference other than subcultures between us, and even then; we exist within those same subcultures. People are different all over the place. But politicians and their end game, is ALWAYS the same. Can't change history, and a lot of it we shouldn't hope to change. A ton of bad shit, but throughout history, a lot of good shit as well. All in all, the elite does everything they absolutely possibly can to make sure the rest of us never realize that we outnumber them by 10,000,000:1. Absolute power corrupts, absolutely.

Ren's underlying message here is that we all have to change our societies "from the ground up". Politicians, icons and business executives won't do it for us. Bruh...I don't know you, you don't know me, but for whatever it's worth I am pleased to hear you speak so highly (the truth) of Ren and how he is changing the paradigm of how music and art is done and popularized. You seem to share many of the same basic ideals, values and perspectives, about life and interpersonal human relations, that I have myself. Ren is playing a significant role in bringing more of, "the collective," into a clarity and understanding of humanity's shared similarities; helping more and more people to see through and ignore the manipulations of maniacs who tirelessly work to divide the masses. Folks only know what they are taught, so Idk if folks SHOULD know. I always look at it like more people should teach....I can never blame anyone for not knowing what they were never made privy too. I think the bigger issue is the many that don't want to acknowledge these messages when they receive them. ✌🏿💚💪🏿
