PVC pipes for air will last a few years. Once it explodes once, you will have more explosions after you repair it, as the shock weakens the rest of the line. Unless they make this pipe better than they used to. Has this stuff in my workplace and had to get rid of it.

The Problem with PVC Pressure Ratings Pressure ratings on PVC pipe can also lead to confusion. Many PVC pipes are rated for 300-600 PSI. Since the average industrial compressed air system is pressurized to 100-125 PSI, this may sound like it is more than enough. However, there are several problems with this assumption. The rating is for the pipe itself, not for seals and joins. PVC is notorious for failing at the joints when used for compressed air. Many adhesives used for PVC piping are not compatible with compressor lubricants, making a failure just a matter of time.

It's a bit scary watching you guys do electrical... I'm an electrician and lets just say there's a few code violations. But that's ok, it's not recorded for everyone to see or anything.😄 As far as switches for your walk through lights, do yourself a massive favor and put in lights with occupancy sensors! You just leave the switches on and no matter what door you come in from overhead or pass doors the lights will just come on. Great for when your hands are full or you drive in and the lights just come on. Bonus the kids won't be able to leave the lights on because they will shut off by themselves!

If I had known that you were doing your own wiring of the shop, I would have volunteered to do it for you. I just hope that there are not too many inspectors watching because there are many non-code and even violations happening here. Be sure to test each and every circuit before spray foam, otherwise it will be a nightmare to trouble shoot any issues and even worst to repair, ask me how I know! If you get in over your head give me shout, i'm retired now so I have the time. Everything is looking good can't wait to see it in operation.

All that extra workshop space, and you take it up with a break-room, office and toilet doesn't leave much for the workshop. Dont get an oil-buring furnace!! put a 20kw solar panel array on the workshop roof that will power the whole workshop and the house and use it to run a R/C airconditioner. Make sure to chop down the trees that shade the roof so it gets the maximum sunshine. You don't run compressed air around a workshop with white pvc plumbing pipe!

Just a tip for the next wiring project: attach a string to a broom handle or painter's pole, and run that the whole run. Then electrical tape all your cables to the string, and pull them (and more string) in a single pull. No more ladder moving. Be sure you pull fresh string with the cables, so that when you need to add more cables you already have a pull string.

you'll have a great looking shop when it's finished and it's great having a security camera just keeping things safe...and the spray foam insulation will keep your shop warm and hopefully cooler in the summer heat...great work..

don't you worry about speed on the rollback build Paul, Your a hard working family man, who's always helping friends, Family and the community. you have many irons in the fire and have to juggle them all to keep them hot. I think you're a stand up guy, and put out great content for us all, I'm Glad you have Ben, Sean, Landon, and Sometimes Hunter (just kidding Hunter) to help you out! and great of Michelle's Bro helping on the new shop also. You have enough deadlines without making any added stress, you'll get that rollback done when ya can, and us loyal viewers and fans will be sitting here watching every video in the meantime!!I also really enjoyed seeing the couple mud recoveries the other day. I love seeing you use the Wrecker as Grandpa Sherm would've and not just keeping it as a beauty queen although it is gorgeous. could listen to that Big block work all day long!! I used to be a Early to mid 70s Ford man and still love that era and own a 78 f250 but you really have made me love square body Chevy's the only other guy I know who really shows their love on KZbin for square bodys is Derrick over at VGG. he collects them like baseball cards too!!🤘😆🙏🏼✌🏼

I think trying to get the rollback done quickly was more about making sure it actually get done before a lot of other builds get started.

You're exactly right, it would take any of us normal folk two years to build that truck, so I'm not gonna fuss about timelines, I've built shops at work, and it's a huge job

@@agentcrm I'm sure you are probably right about that! I bet they have all the upcoming projects that we know of, and probably have just as many that we don't know about that are top secret, I'm really excited to see that old bus build, which I know has to wait until they can get it into the Big Shop. I'm also excited to see Michelle's Jeepster, and them put That nice engine from her wrecked rig into it, I think that's also gonna be a cool build. Also I didn't think I'd be as interested in Jaces Dodge Dakota build but I am enjoying following the progress of that build, and the fact that Paul built and wheeled his own Dakota back in the day makes it even better because he already knows strengths and weaknesses and what works and what doesn't it will be cool to see Jace Wheel it in different places like Moab, and Sand hollow

I wish I could have helped with the wiring. I’m a retired EE that is short and skinny. I’m the person that was always sent in to do the tight spaces work. I always found it amazing how much time I could relax by hiding in tight spaces. 🙂

Those truck frames are designed to be flexible and do not require plating unless there are connection issues. Boxing a c-section is good idea for high stress locations such as bumpers front and back. I say watch how much weight you are putting in 4x4 rigs! :)

5:30: Cat 6. I have an amazing team in the cyber world that totally gets things done, frequently operating outside their realm because bunches of smart people tend to get things thrown at them. You have an amazing team that gets thing done in a few other worlds because it all gets thrown at them. So fun to watch and compare. No comparison, totally the same.
