The trend to shove cages around everything is ridiculous. When you spend thousands on a piece of kit you damn well look after it. I bought a cage for my ZV1 simply for recentered mounting point. But not interested for my FX3's

I have broken the hot shoe of my Sony camera mounting a mic on it it is a weak spot. If cages are not for you that is fine we all like different things
