When I was 14 my aunt took her own life. She was gay at a time when this was never spoken about. Even now I think about her and the years we never had with her. She was one of my favourite people.

I lost my oldest daughter from suicide 4 years ago in April. Her oldest daughter and my oldest grandchild, died from anorexia/bulimia 10 years prior two weeks after her 21st birthday. My daughter never got through that grief and it finally manifested by her taking her own life. I’ve managed, through many counseling sessions to achieve my point of acceptance and peace. They are both with me everyday. It’s a very difficult journey and I feel it’s different and unique to each person.

My thoughts are with you, I found no words will ever be able to express the loss, and dealing with double grief is very complex. But acceptance is all we can hope for as the pain will stay with us, we just have to learn how to live with it.

Nearly had me bawling my eyes out at just this clip of what's coming.. OMGoodness.. Bless him. This man is clearly in SO much pain my heart aches for him. I'm so glad he has reached out for therapy..And I'm so glad he is going to be working with you, Alex. This is going to be tough to watch, just because I hate to see fellow humans in pain, however I am looking forward to watching another In Therapy transformation happen. Ps. Welcome back, Alex and team! Lol :)

That was a byproduct of filming this with Alex, even if it helps just 1 person, it would of been worth exposing my deep inner most precious feelings.
