Thanks for the videos. Nice to see again. I worked on the ships 1964-70.

Very nice vid. I am from Cleveland, but am now in the desert southwest of the US and show this to my friends who have never been to the Great Lakes and they could not believe it, how big this boat is, and they have never seen so much water before.

When I first moved to Canada, I was blown away by seeing ships on the Lake, I had no idea back then that it was thing. I just though they were at sea. 25 years on and I am still in awe

Glad you enjoyed it Debbie, I'm trying to make each video a little different than the last one, so they don't become to repetitive.

Simply fantastic, love getting an up close view of the Welland Locks 1 & 2. Trying to find a jet-propelled drone for you lol. Really interesting to see the working of the locks compared to the Soo. You can get so much closer.

Jet propelled? for under water? Oh come on now, don't give me ideas lol

Great videos! I live a few blocks away and the Frontenac is also on my watch list ⚓! Lake Ontario was even called Lac Frontenac 🏴☠ long ago. Do you know why some of these ships will sometimes anchor off Port Dalhousie / Port Weller sometimes for days at a time? I can see them from the end of my street. They look awesome at night with their lights on. Cheers! 🚢

Could be a matter of waiting for clearance to proceed to next destination or a time slot they have for entering the Canal. I am sure there may be other reasons, hopefully someone will chime in.

Thanks for stopping by June, we get a mixture of Lakers and Seaway Max vessels. We all really enjoy seeing our older lakers pass by along with Salties that are first time visitors.

Just wanted you to know that I have been enjoying your videos Very different content Especially when you use the drones or the ski doo Your friend Scott on Vancouver Island on the west coast
@NigelHayАй бұрын
Hi Scott, thanks for the comment. I enjoy getting out on the SeaDoo and being along side them or being able to go offshore and get images of ships actually out on the lake. I hope to get the seadoo out one more time before it gets winterized.

Frontenac is one of the first lakers I ever saw. In Midland, ON. They used to (maybe still do) offload grain at the…silos in Midland harbour. Not sure what company owns them now. She’s looking a bit neglected if I say so myself. Needs paint. Thanks for your videos! 👍😄

For the amount of hours she puts in out there on the lake, she surely is a hard working vessel.
