A FEEL-GOOD, COZY VLOG || Vlogmas day 8

Hello, sweet friends!
As the saying goes, laughter is THE BEST medicine. I don't know about you, but I haven't laughed very much in 2020...and I'd really like to change that. So laugh with me today, tomorrow, and the weeks, months, & years to follow as I make it a point to LAUGH.
I'd like to become the type of person who laughs easily, heartily, and frequently. I intend to do this by watching more funny movies, throwing solo-dance parties for myself, exploring stand-up comedy, and of course, reading more humor-focused books. Are you in? Let's try for at one laugh a day!

When you were talking about how magical the forest is to you, I love that you said "I hope I never get used to this." It's so true. When you are surrounded by such beauty, it's very easy to become jaded to it and see it as something that's just "there."

Yes! I live in a place where people come from all over to hike. I forget how beautiful it is until someone new comes to visit us and keeps freaking out about how beautiful New Hampshire is. I'm stuck here now for quarantine but it's a nice place to be stuck. At least I have nature. Not everyone has that right now.

I live fairly near the Grand Canyon, and I forget that people go their whole lives just hoping to see it one day, or they plan whole vacations around it. Whereas I have a pass will just pop over whenever, like "Oh, yeah... The Grand Canyon... I've seen it... 🤷‍♀️" 😂

Theres nothing like an upbeat dance party to lift a mood and spark joy! And of course it wouldn't be complete without an awkward onlooker or two! haha. Also laughter is such an important intention to set. I feel as we get older we get more and more bogged down with responsibilities and frustrations of the day to day and we forget how valuable it is to make time for joy and silliness. Thank you for this joyful reminder and example!
