I've been enjoying your wonderful videos for some time now, Foresty, but this one is really exceptional. That glorious opening sequence, the thoughtful way you set up shots and then edit each scene, the soundtrack selection and the effort you go to to sync a moment in the music to a specific moment in the video (the paper bursting into flame, for instance). Just really next level! Every time I watch one of your videos I think to myself, "first he had to get to that spot (I'm thinking of the waterfall walk-by, for example), then he had to decide where to set up the camera, then he probably did a test run to see if he framed it effectively, then he had to walk back out of frame, then he had to walk through the shot, then he had to go back and check if the shot worked, then pack everything up, then continue on his hike. And that's for scene after scene! The time, thought and effort you put in is mind-blowing. And in THIS video you really deliberately 'wrote' a scenario - you told us a 'day-in-the-life of Foresty Forest' story: "Checking things off my 'To Do' list" - then took us through it, including actually *showing us you checking things off the list*, then symbolically saying "I'm done." by burning the list. This video was scripted in a very deliberate, thoughtful way I haven't really noticed you do before - it's beyond just going on a hike and then crafting together whatever footage you managed to get. This was very intentional *filmmaking* and it's brilliant! Bravo! 👋👋👋

I saw it out of the corner of my eye as I was sitting there and said Hey kitty kitty and it turned and looked at me and I froze. Then it turned and walked on.
