Mikhail Khodorkovsky, is definitely on Putin's hit list! He's one of the most brilliant ex- oligarchs, having escaped Putin, but certainly on a hit list, for his opinions and organizations trying to help overthrow Putin!

He was imprisoned by Putin for ten years having addressed blatant corruption. He was a threat. The man is blessed with outstanding intelligence and, notably, emotional depth and psychological fortitude - despite his suffering - so no doubt his views should have been heard globally as soon as he was freed - and he was freed by the Germans🇩🇪🙏 What if the right leaders would have been allowed to surface earlier? What if mental wellbeing and moral soundness and a limit to the duration of power would be called to our list of requirements in our global leaders? Millions of lives, economies and environmental damage limited. Trust would have been possible. He is correct to be rational. We are where we are because we failed to define what ethical leadership is, and to enshrine it in our “Charter” and Constitutions🧘‍♀️🕊️🙏

One would have thought that your guest would have learned English by now since he lives in London and was the head of YUKOS, the top oil company after 1990. Oil men second language is English, irrespective of their country of origin. Going through an interpreter renders the whole interview a futile boring exercise, no matter how interesting MK is in his native language. A shame!

Ideally, each speaker would speak their original language and there would be subtitles. I find that, however, that there is nothing boring about this conversation - Mr. Khodorkovsky’s ideas are fresh, and he is giving candid off-the-cuff opinions, if one listens carefully.
