Hi B love the story bout you scent journey and being an old cyclist myself relate heavenly to the almost euphoric feeling of the final dismount when the ride is complete,yeah I watch the younger guys pass me when I’m ambling up the street new bikes real fancy machines nowadays ha then I would catch a glance of myself in some shop window yeah time and tide sure don’t wait for nobody then I’d think on the fancy bike guy and if ya gave me some twenty years or so yeah I could take him big time , hell my friend gimme that there fancy bike today and I’d make him break a sweat by god.stay safe peace out 🇮🇪🙏🙏

Yes. You are giving me reason to visit Ireland would love to explore Ireland cycling to me no better way. Because I am a bigger guy I would be the slowest on huge climbs which I did them all around here. But because of that I was able to build up my legs and make the city men cry:) They would line up ahead of me on a red light in Portland because of how big I was they assumed they could take me. And that's when in my mind I smiled really big because they only road to work and could sprint for quarter mile so I would draft them until there legs broke through the city they would go as far as they could and couldn't believe I was behind them. Then I would sprint past them and not give them a shot at passing me. The fun I would do to get me through the long rides. Mind you would never do it unless provoked. Only one person ever I couldn't get I finally caught him at a long red light and it was a racer I knew from a 100 mile ride we ended up teaming together on helping pull each other. Anyways too much info, but I love cycling need to get back into it. LOL

LOL we have crazy drivers on the Washington side of thing that's why I always race to Portland. Amazing what the city has done for cycling.

Surprised you like slow explosions so much. I don't remember liking it. Imma wear it today I have it. I like cape heartache (love the fog note), memoirs of a trespasser, mint julep, and sundrunk. Those are the 4 I went with. Didn't smell city on fire or cobra&canary tho. I love sundrunk on a woman. That rhubarb does it for me. Bulls blood was kinda gross on me. I like whispered myths. IA used to have issues with evaporation from their first bottles. It probably sat a long time and evaporated and is of no ones fault. Ashton had about 10 ml evaporate from his first cape heartache while it sat in his collection

Part of the first niche bottle ever. And I do like saffron and leather quite a bit. The apple still adds tons of interest to me. Evaporation that's probably what happened to Every Storm a Serenade was really surprised how low it is.

The only one I own is cape heartache , good house but hendley has a better version for most of their good stuff. Fume is a better version of cape heartache, bourbon is a better version of memoirs, bad city ( one of the lab ones) is a better version of slow explosions.
