Brandon, awesome list. I would like to add that Fille en Aiguilles (Serge Lutens) is THE definition of a Christmas perfume. Balsamic, resinous and spicy pine needles with a hint of sweetness and incense. It simultaneously conjures pictures of outdoor pine trees in the snow, and indoor burning of dry pine needles by an eternally cozy fireplace while sipping on a soothing hot drink with exotic spices. BTW, most get the translation of "Fille en Aiguilles" wrong; it is French slang for "Girl in high heels". Merry Christmas to you all, and spread the fragrant love

I actually have a review early on of Fille en Aiguilles hidden on the channel. I've actually hunted for bottles on discounters with no luck. Serge is a hard one for me as a lot are 70% off, but the ones I want can't be found on the discounters. Will pick up Chergui one day!

@@TherapeuticFragrance It is usually weather pending as I am in summer, and depending how hot it will get on the day. Maybe something classic, floral and not too heavy, perhaps Chanel No.19, Beige or L'Heure Bleue.

Great review as usual. Just ordered a sample of Neriko, really wanted to try Tenmoku, Miyako, and Ryukyu but they don't sell samples so not about to buy blind at those prices. Also ordered a Subitism Burner and maybe will get some Shoyeido Kyara incense later but I have some vintage wood chips and neriko (kneaded incense) to try out in the meantime. Seems like a good way to spend this winter. Best Wishes.

Yes to the incense it is really a different maker in this weather have been starting most mornings with it. Have you had the Shoyeido before? Glad you got the subitism only way to got with high end chips. So easy to control. Plus you can just warm and smell to re-use if you only have one. Which I have been handed some that is very rare and I do this with.

@@TherapeuticFragrance I got my burner from JK - so excited. I've only used the low end Shoyeido before, basically to light the pulp used in moxibustion treatments. They're such a big brand I see them like Itoen, the tea brand, that sell exclusive ceremonial matcha sold to tea guilds to teabags and bottled tea at the grocery. I was following Ensar's recommendation to learn what Kyara smelled like by actually trying the chips (too expensive) or incense (still expensive) from Baieido or Shoyeido.

Hey Joel as in my full review there is not much. This is an example of Hype nuts being caught with there pants down. The brand mis handled this. I wasn't able to get my review out until it was pretty much sold out. People who bought this did so without understanding what all natural perfume is. This is for people who wan a true all natural and there is a huge market for it. They just haven't connected with them. The Areej crown that got this I knew they wouldn't like it. Areej uses heavy fixatives for projection. So everyone who has people who don't wear perfume in there life because those fixatives are headache or ahstma inducing this is the luxury stuff for them that actually promotes health. I for some reason like both and fully understand arguments of both sides. I have people in my life this is the only kind of stuff I can wear around them. Overall I stand by my review this is a fantastic natural composition.

I sold Norne and kept Papa Serge's Fille En Aiguilles and Durbano's Black Tourmaline which I find it more complex and interesting than Norne. Norne for me is like walking through a forest and getting hugged, really tightly, by a mama grizzly bear with management anger issues. Too much, too sticky, too wall to wall monolithic incense that only wants to beat you into submission until you're a pulp. You don't wear Norne, Norne wears you. You feel suicidal try wearing it in August, in a 40c heat. I did. Just for shits and giggles. PS I had it in extrait version, 2nd version I believe, in the cylindrical bottle, the ultra dark, black green juice, blacker than the Devil's soul. Ruined a couple t-shirts because of the staining. The stickiness really got under my skin. Literally.

Agree Norne is a Needle and moss bomb. I wore in heat once and then decided there is such a thing as seasonal fragrances what works in super cold weather just annoys in heat. I CAN'T IMAGINE AN EXTRAIT OF THIS THING, WOW!!! Yes Slumberhouse is a true Punk fume"
