Happy Birthday & congrats on your 100k button :-) Fantastic that you're doing a blog on female solo camping. I was in the same position as so many, just a step to far to hike off solo and camp. I managed to find a Wilderness Camp (private secure land) on the Somerset Dorset boarder so I can go there at weekends and wild camp / build a shelter in the forest and know there are one or two other folk around in the forest - we're all far apart but close enough to feel safe. Can have camp fires too. They are planning to hold Wild Woman Weekends this year - female only. Awesome that women want to do this and be free in the wilds. Love your videos, stay safe, have fun and look forward to future videos. x

Well I learned something new in this video; I had never heard of gorse tea or the gorse plant. I may order some tea for the health benefits; but not the taste because while you said it was refreshing your face told us otherwise which was sweet. On the shelter I agree with the tarp because the use of moss and debris is like giving ticks an engraved invitation into your bedroom. I saw a couple of small holes in the tarp and I recently saw another UK KZbinr use “Tenacious Tape” to repair her tarp in which she had just poked a hole. I never heard of it but I’m going to order some to try. On the subject of haters I’ll just say that anyone who hates you or your videos would also hate puppies and therefore they are mentally a few sandwiches short of a picnic. Take care and keep moving forward.

if i might suggest in our woods we would build such shelters but to cover we used roofing tar felt..or tap paper as we call it a roll is cheap and it will last for yrs
