Why do you measure to the fork. I’ve seen you do it a lot but qld rules you measure to the end of tail

Hey mate i usually measure a fish to the tip of the tail but for this didn't want any guess work in it. Like if the tail bunched up out long and gave an extra couple cm or maybe spread right back and got less cm.
