Sounds like when I fished Mosquito Bay, low tide I kept getting snagged on the channel.

Yep that cannel lip is at a hard angle because of how deep it gets quickly - most of it is sand stone and slowly pulling it through normally works but there is also mussel and oysters in the mix.

Hey bro I've found if You get stuck on that lip out of the channel if you walk 10-20 meters down the beach it frees up pretty easy. Some nice fish there.
