Some of the low-maintenance, disease-resistant roses which grow in my garden: Dinky, Ballerina, Robin Hood, Angela, Roselina, Candela, Libertas, Alexander von Humboldt. They require minimal care and flower for months, even in November.

I really like those large stones - they're virtually boulders! The make a fantastic edging for a raised border or for changing levels.

Yes, they are! The garden is situated on a steep slope so driving up the last few metres of the driveway is a real challenge. I think in winter they park the car much lower than the house itself.
