It's got a lot more secondary than primary stability. An absolutely awesome creek kayak, I just wanted something larger for big water. I still have mine, and even got a Primo for places without boat ramps.
@garydenton20483 ай бұрын
Gee, Bauer. That's wide, deep water for a kayak. I had a boat once. Looked over the side and kept seeing me in the water. I saw it as a sign and finally sold the boat and stuck to the bank. I'm now 80; glad I went boatless. On the other hand, you do show good judgement by always wearing a lifejacket. Nice video.

@adampolk78183 ай бұрын

@markbickal35173 ай бұрын
Your 60amp breaker shouldn’t be tripping with a 55lb thrust trolling motor on high. Depending on your kayak length you may need heavier wiring running up to your trolling motor. Personally I’d run 6 gauge as you probably have close to 20ft of wiring. Also the breaker being in direct sun on the black battery box could be heating up from sunlight and tripping out easier. Just my 2 cents on that, a 55 shouldn’t trip it without an underlying issue.

Are you satisfied with the kayak or do you wish you went with a pedal drive kayak? I’m needing a new one and not sure how if the pedal drive is worth it for catfishing.
@drizzyq3 ай бұрын
Just scored a brand new big fish 120 for $350. It was delivered a few hours ago. I was looking at potentially going with a pedal drive but I typically fish a very shallow river in Iowa so a pedal drive wouldn't be ideal for myself.
@RiverCertified3 ай бұрын
Nothing wrong with a pedal drive, but if you're gonna spend that much money on a kayak, I think a trolling motor with spot lock is so much more effective. Either way, I hope you find a kayak you like!
