Thanks for your kind words, @strangepandora Five years after high school, I finally made it to university. During that gap, I gained valuable experience working as a customer representative, handling administrative tasks, and assisting my mum with managing her small business. During this time, I discovered my passion for engaging with people, exciting them about products, and persuading them to make a purchase. I also developed a keen interest in surfing the internet. I soon found myself drawn to social media, where I started helping the businesses I worked with establish and manage their online presence, boosting their engagement and sales. When I eventually entered university, my curiosity expanded, particularly at the intersection of technology, human empowerment, and business growth. I began exploring online resources to find career paths that matched the skills I had already developed. This exploration ignited my passion for leveraging technology to empower others and drive business success. There are many ways to connect with volunteering opportunities, including word of mouth (your friends), your network, social media platforms, and Google search (know what you want and find it. In my next video, I will discuss getting volunteering opportunities, giving value, and getting value back from them for your career growth.
