It seems like this saw hits all the right buttons for a contractor saw and a woodworking enthusiast on a tight budget who isn’t afraid of frequent need for adjustment of tolerances. Nice video representation of this machine Mike. 👍

Planning to get a table saw in the next few months. Going to have to decide between this saw and the Skil table saw.
@ProjectsForAllReviewsАй бұрын
You really can't go wrong either way. Im glad we finally found a saw that can compete with the Skil. I know this is about $75-100 more but I think there's an acceptable amount of upgrades to the Masterforce to justify the extra cash. Good luck with the decision and thanks for watching!

In Greece for the summer, I just riped 24 2x6 boards in half, on the Skil saw, and...not ONE hikup! For it's size/price, the Skil is amazingly good. Just to update everyone on it... :)
@ProjectsForAllReviewsАй бұрын
I still use mine too. It's still crazy tough to beat for less than $300. Enjoy your summer overseas. Wave to my house in Italy when you fly over, haven't seen it in over 10 years. Thanks for watching!

It's alright. Better than the PRO_ "something" I bought for about $250 off Amazon a few months ago. But I can make that work too. I like rooting for the underdogs!

Not a bad saw at all! I don’t have a Menards near me in NJ, but if I did I wonder if I would’ve gotten this over the Dewalt!

I got a matabo saw that looks nearly identical to this aside from fence and stand differences for 300 bucks at Lowe's a month ago. I have been very pleased with it for the money. I also check it nearly every cut with a square but I don't use it enough to be upset about it.

We'll be reviewing that Metabo sometime soon. I'll do some comparisons to this Masterforce in that vid because I agree they look very similar! Thanks for watching!

Swap with Cobalt fence? 🤷♂
@Bobbyg2018Ай бұрын
I do like the long arbor and the bigger table, the fence seems like a mistake though. I really like the stand on my Skil - I built a stationary stand for it with outfeed and just have the legs folded up - but if I needed to take it somewhere - easy peasy, just grab it and unfold the legs.
@ProjectsForAllReviewsАй бұрын
I also love the Skil for how compact it is. Sits on an about 1/3 of a shelf on a gladiator shelving unit in my garage, taking up no space at all. There are three other table saws on gravity style stands in there at the moment and I'm constantly moving them out of the way. Thanks for watching Bobby!

Even if you don't factor in the color the MasterForce looks alot like the Metabo HPT. I'd curious to see how they match up!

You should see if the dewalt fence fits on this saw. That could solve a huge issue with this one.

That would be sweet but I no longer have that DeWALT to try. Maybe I can borrow back just the fence 🧐
@JeffStonerАй бұрын
Yeah, that fence is jenky. Totally not a fan of that. Otherwise it is a good saw. Thanks again for the review!

@mypeeps1965Ай бұрын
i LOVE THAT IT ACCEPTS DADOS, BUT IF YOUR CUTTING DADOS YOU NEED A FLAT SURFACE. I WOULD JUST BUY A USED GOOD SAW WITH A MACHINED TOP, HAS THE COMPACITY FOR A FULL DADO, AND HAS A DECENT FENCE, OR THE ABILITY TO ADD A DECENT FENCE WHEN MONEY IS AVAILIBLE IMO. ANYONE WILLING TO SPEND MORE THAN $350 SHOULD CHOOSE THE USED MARKET. THERE ARE THOUSANDS OF SAWS THAT ARE ACCURATE OR THE ABILITY TO BE ACCURATE THAT ALSO ALLOW FOR UPGRADES. ALL THESE NEW SAWS ARE DOWNGRADES, AND LITTLE BY LITTLE THEY WANT YOU TO ACCEPT MARGINAL RESULTS AND ARE PURE SHIT. THANK MIKE. TAKE CARE. PS. TIMES ARE ROUGH AND REALLY, REALLY, GOOD SAWS CAN BE HAD FOR NEXT TO NOTHING, DONT LISTEN TO THE HYPE. GOD BLESS.

Been scouring KZbin for table saw reviews and loving the detail you put into yours! Which table saw would you go for if your budget was up to ~$700 and wanted portability? Thanks! Love the content...earned my Sub :D
@2gofasterАй бұрын
This saw is perfect for beginners, it's not too expensive and as you get more comfortable with your skills, you'll eventually want to move up to a better tablesaw. If you're always looking for perfection or require high-quality professional work, this won't be for you. You'll see how precision can only come from a good quality cabinet tablesaw. Best of luck to all beginners.
@ProjectsForAllReviewsАй бұрын
I think this would be an excellent beginner saw as long as the beginner knows to check the fence is perpendicular. Otherwise there is a good amount of value to dollar in this one. Thanks for watching!

In the past, my tools needed frequent alignments, I made a “very square” 2x4 block about 8” long from straight grained hardwood scrap to quick check fences and jigs. The block was so useful that I clear coated it. Many years later, that same block is still square, and I still use.

@petepenman324 күн бұрын
Plenty loud enough on my phone. In fact I turn it down a notch or two
@mypeeps196524 күн бұрын
@@petepenman3 It could have something to do with compression on KZbin's part, but I don't know. I have two extremely high-end systems, one Intel and one AMD with great speakers, side by side and the sound was low on both. I'm not dismissing anything, but I'm leaning on KZbin throttling/compressing things with adverse effects... It would be cool if others spoke up to see if their experiences are as up and down as ours. Take care.

I was looking for a table saw 3 years ago, and found this beauty. This is a hidden gem, indeed. It has features that many other much more expensive saws do not -- all in one package! Namely: 13A motor, 3.5" max cutting depth, rack-and-pillion fence, dado compatibility, 33" max width, and wheels. This thing does need adjustment, and in my case, I had to adjust the motor to make the blade parallel to the miter slot. The fence can be adjusted so that there's zero slack in the guides. As to the fence itself, yeah, you gotta make sure it's perpendicular to the table. I suspect that 3d party clamp-on fence might be what the doctor ordered.
@ProjectsForAllReviewsАй бұрын
I love when the tools we review turn out to be good. In this case it's extra sweet because I had no idea what to expect going in. Not even Masterforce bothered to make a short promo vid for their own saw! Everything you said is true and I'll be keeping this one around for future comparison vids and reference. Thanks for watching!
@oseaghinАй бұрын
@@ProjectsForAllReviews Thanks for making the video! One more thing: with a Freud blade and a CMT dado stack (also from Menards), I'm able to achieve 1/64" or greater precision over at least 4ft. I built 2 gates, each with 12 half-lap joints (6 on top and 6 on bottom) from aspen boards 3-4 ft long and 3.5" wide. The thing was perfectly square, and most joints fit tightly. Accuracy was limited by measurements (and jigs), not the saw.
