Thanks again Jakob didn’t know you could do that in AUM , great stuff. The new features look interesting in the AUM update once it hits especially the swapping of nodes between channels. Not on the beta, but looking forward to seeing what it brings. I’m sure you be the first to show us how to use the new functionality once it drops.

Is there a way to automate it using midi from another plugin?
@JakobHaq2 жыл бұрын
Bart Simpson in da house, cowabunga dude! The answer is yes if you’re wondering about being able to automate controllers. Any AUv3 MIDI parameters can be automated/modulated with apps that send out MIDI CC data. Send my regards to Lisa and Maggie!

Thanks for this great info. Anyone know if there's an auv3 db meter to monitor levels? I know there's a horizontal one on top but I'm looking for one vertical to monitor the master channel and other channels instead of the 3 dots.
@BellowsSqueezer2 жыл бұрын
Way cool for sure. Thanks👍
@MultiMam123452 жыл бұрын
Great tip! In most cases its not clipping and is below 0. Its just 3 dots with 3 colors which is not really accurate. But my brain tells clipping too when its red.
@Kymatica2 жыл бұрын
It’s 3 dots plus a 4th clipping indicator (red box with dB numeric value). The last dot is not really red, more like orange :)
@nikvr20252 жыл бұрын
For more precise measurement, you can switch the main VU meter at the top to any signal. Just tap on it and select.

ADD MIDI TAPE RECORDER then you have the BEST DAW for Live recording keyboards , Mastering, house keeping midi, AUM, presets as well music (in audioshare) control whatever application in iPad thru in/out matrices To resume its conception was done by a GENIUS , NOTHING missing needed since its compatibility allows to extend any further editing to Any iPad DAW (AURIA, CUBASIS3,Garage band ) and so on, transfering midifiles, waves, loops, recorded or played , controlled with midi-learn all levels

This is why I've never found AUM a realistic option for me. Too many obscure functions. Minimalist UI design is fine when the functions are clear or when they appear when you need them, but AUM relies on cryptic symbols, hidden menus and submenus and ends up decreasing my productivity instead of making life easier for me.

With other apps music apps. I have yet to find a solid way to unleash what I got going on. And my work arounds r.... Limited.
