I use AUM in a live setup. Once you get your head around the work flow and concept its simply amazing. The MIX Bus feature is essential when you get more advanced. ie you can put an effect on a mix bus and easily switch it in / out Also final compression for all audio recordings. I’d love the Session name somewhere on home screen. I’ve also got deep into the midi side of it so if anyone needs help comment away :/ Great Video... Subscribed

Thanks Mitch. You are great at finding features. AUM is incredible. Jonatan is not only a superstar programmer but is a top designer. His interfaces are sooo good. He thinks of all the details. Those double taps and menuing etc. I wish he would be involved in many more apps. Maybe he is. The combination of AUM and Audioshare is the most important tool for us. Just think how we would suffer without those 2 apps. I must say the ApeMatrix developer is close. If Apesoft got together with Jonatan, we would have perfection. We need you to find these things for us. I really appreciate you.

Hi, Can I route AUM with IOS video on the IPad Pro rather than the default mic it’s for a DJ set ‘video iPad, Audio DJ mixer? I tried the method of simply connecting the usb cable from the DJ mixer to the iPad which works but the iPad must be choosing the wrong channel as there’s no eq changes or effects present from the DJ mixer on the recording.

I can’t figure out a way to midi map the tempo! I don’t mean tap tempo, I mean mapping a wheel/knob controller to seamlessly increase/decrease...kinda the most basic thing. I get all the more advanced setups for channels and there’s tons of videos on that...but this remains elusive. It’s straightforward in Audiobus, but I really like AUM...

Thanks for this. Always something about AUM I didn’t know yet. It looks like you are using an iconnectivity audio4+? That has been the backbone of my iPad workflow for a while. But I am finding it has some glitches (audio engine crashes on the iPad) since iOS 12.4, which continue now thru iOS 13 beta 3. (They disappeared in beta 1, but came back in beta 3). Have you seen anything similar and been able to do anything about it?

thanks. I have not noticed many crashes, although now that I think about it, I have noticed some. But not many. It has been more, if a cable gets knocked around from the back, or if I plug in the iCA4+ after I already have AUM open. Best practice is to restart your iPad on a regular basis or before you start a big project or something.

I don't think so. There was at one point an app that allowed for Spotify premium but that app has been removed I think. There is a TubeAU app that allows youtube to be pulled up in AUM.

Of course you’re aware that Spotify has its own, if inferior EQ setup. Might have to jailbreak to get down and dirty with the whole music system. Apple, amiright?
