Great re-introduction to the orruk lore. Though I dispute your comment that they "make great bad guys". I think they're more nuanced than that. Orruks do make for a great wild-card element, since they will gladly fight anyone and everyone, but I feel that they're the victims of the current Aos story, being driven from what homes they have made by the Dawnbringer Crusades and targeted for extinction by the real villains of AoS, the Stormcast Eternals. Also #KragnosSucks

YASSSSSSSS-I mean, WAAAAAAAGH!!! Collecting a Kruleboyz force as I love the sorta retro look of them. Will also probably pick up Kragnos and a Mega-Gargant to supplement them. Also excited for any future releases. I know we’re due an Undergrounds band and I’m hoping we’ll eventually get an endless spell set and some sort of terrain kit.

I love me some orruk war clans. They are one of my absolute favorites in the warhammer age of sigmar setting. Specifically, the kruleboyz and their mastery of the beasts and elaborate traps they like to tinker with.

When you say that Ironjawz have been refined by the forces of chaos what do you exactly mean? I thought they were opposed to chaos (and everything else for that matter) Keep the great work! Love your videos!

During the age of chaos the iron jawz spent basically all hours fighting demons and since orruks get bigger the more they fight the ironjaw clans became bigger and stronger than the typical orruk. They were refined by fighting chaos

Not to step on any toes here, but their pronounced orruk (or-ook) not ork. Orruk are what the orks once were. Its gork and mork the "A" is silent. Their two separate entities not one with two heads and finally it has been proven they are plant based and reproduce via spoors when thy die. the orks were resurrected by the eldar in warhammer 30 or 40k but not to their full genetic glory of orruk. Orks are a subspecies of the original blood line orruk in warhammer lore. I've been studying the lore of warhammer, age of sigmar, and 40k since the game hit the states in the 80s.

I really dont like the Kruleboyz aesthetic. GW orcs are iconic and these new ones ruin it. They belong in LOTR. Also their models have waaaaaay too much detail and pointy bits. I am sure the pros love it but for the average person they are crazy difficult to paint.

While I don't like how everybody compares the kruleboyz to lotr orcs, i honestly don't see the similarly, there is no reason to try and "kick" people out of a community or accuse of them of coming from specific fandoms with "wrong" opinions etc. I mean Aos is awesome , in part, because whfb was and is awesome. I can't wait to get a mini of Miao Ying and Zhao ming or the elemental bear if or when GW makes those for the old world. Plus only half of their argument is about being similar to lotr, I imagine they do take, at least a little bit, more skill to paint then your average iron jawz or Stormcast eternal. We can all talk and argue in a calm unassuming manor to everyone even when somebody else is dead wrong or acting in bad faith. Its how communities grow, through genuine dialog.

I dunno. I am very much an amateur painter and I love lots of gubbins. I like the classic GW orc aesthetic more, but I like how the kruleboyz are expanding the possible phenotypes of greenskins. It makes all of the orruks and grots really look like are on a bellicose, green continuum
